We really enjoyed our meal here. What it lacks in pretension it more than makes up in the quality of it's food and cocktails! Particular favourites were the Scallops on cauliflower couscous and the the coconut crumbed prawns. Will definitely be back!!

I have dined at Mole and chicken before, but now the menu has been changed, just a few options left, food servings have gone smaller, Only the steaks were just good enough, The chicken wasn't really tender felt a bit dry and overcooked, ribs weren't flavourful at all, they don't have a smokiness or a bbq flavour, the sauces used just slipped off and ribs didn't really have any seasoning, drinks are bit jacked up for prices. Staff was really good and friendly, but food let the place down, just for the service and environment its getting 3, but food doesn't deserve more than 2.5 to be honest.

A nice and warm restaurant. The staffs are friendly and provide warm greeting. The size of the dishes is quite impressive and the flavor is quite nice (except for a little bit salty for me). I had a steak and my wife had pork ribs. Both of the dishes are nice. The price is reasonable. The atmosphere here was quite relaxed. Overall, a good place to have dinner.

Good chose for quality food in Taupo. Dinner time start at 5:30 but they have another menu for afternoon. It was very good which is out of my exception. They also sell Taupo local beer💕

Went to this place on Good Friday but it wasn't too busy and no public holiday surcharge. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful without hovering too much. The food was delicious with good flavours and seasoning. I had the crispy coconut chicken as a meal which was excellent. I highly recommend the chocolate cake for dessert.

A great establishment which has a cosy bar and a resterauant. The food was genuine and hearty. The Guinness pie was the best I have had and the desert was equally good. It seems to be a great hang out spot for the locals. There is plenty of street parking and there is a kids menu also with colouring pencils and puzzles to keep the kids occupied. So all in all a great place.
