Started with combination entree which was a delectable choosing of four pieces - the prawn toast was a standout and spring rolls exactly how they should taste. The Pad Thai was tasty, aromatic lamb (pictured) had perfectly softened meat falling off the bone and our company were equally happy with their mains. Only reason to drop a star was we had to wait over an hour for the mains. Though understandably, it was a Saturday evening and bustling place.

Ordered variety of dishes from here fir dinner. Quick service and they delivered to motel. Roti with peanut sauce were the best we've had. They were crispy but fluffy and the peanut sauce was absolutely full of peanut flavour. Four halves of roti per serving so its good value. Also ordered vegetarian dish with tofu, veggies and it came with a peanut sauce. Real veggies, onion, carrot, broccoli, mushroom, celery, courgettes, red capscium. Delicious flavors. Sauce was just alittle thin and watery though. Also ordered a chocolate sundae which came with a little whipped cream and a cherry. Overall a good reasonably priced meal.

Best restaurant we've been to in NZ. My husband and I simply love their food. And we cannot say enough about the hospitality of the hosts. We always stop here for dinner or lunch every time we're in Taupo. Last time we tried the crab meat fried rice and soft shell crab- Amazing! We also never miss their prawn cakes. So yum! Can't wait to go again.

Very friendly, caring and fast service. The food is well presented. The decor is typically Thai and adds a lot of character to the place. The AC was not working the evening I dined. The dishes are delicious but seemed a bit toned down from their original Thai versions. I suppose this is to meet the local pallets. Do try if you are in Taupo.

We stopped by for lunch on the way back to Auckland from Napier. They didn't have any more tables inside the restaurant but they did set us up on the outside. They have a fairly large lunch menu and most sound quite tasty. They also have a nice selection of drinks. The waitress was quite good at taking the orders and all the meals came out around the same time. I didn't mind their tom yum since it wasn't very sour. I had the pad Thai omelette. The sauce was sweet and tasty. It also had both chicken and prawns which was a nice surprise. Their Thai Iced tea was also quite nice. I had the coconut cocktail and that was also nice with bits of coconut, although it was more of a slushie so it did get a bit cold sitting outside. Not a bad place to stop by for food but it does seem to get busy so booking might be an option if you really wanted to dine here.

Delightful experience! The staff were very friendly and the food was incredible! We got the whole steamed snapper with lemon & ginger and a tofu basil. Both mains came with rice. The snapper was huge and very fresh! Flavours were exquisite and authentic. It is on the expensive side but we really enjoyed it. They also have an outdoor seating area which is dog friendly

If you are Non-Asian, you will like the food as it has muted flavors and looks like Thai food. If you are Asian, or have had real Thai flavors, you are likely to be disappointed. We've had That food all over the world. The flavors here were super mild. Dishes like the Roti were under cooked. The restaurant's ambience is a bit Thai-overload, stuffed with decorations. The service is fast, and the staff is friendly and attentive. We ordered four entrees and three appetizers, our bill was $147.

This is my go to Restaurant when staying in Taupo for motorsport racing events. Always impeccable service and the menu caters for all tastes. Outstanding details for the decor and the table settings/menu and food presentation.

Nice location in the centre of Taupo. Friendly staff and prompt service. A big menu with a large selection of dishes, almost too much to choose from. The time taken from ordering to having the food ready to go puts most fast food places to shame, our food was ready in just under five minutes. Once we got to eat it, it was delicious. The serving size was about right for the price.

A nice restaurant with nice stuff and good food! Ambiente: nice and clean restaurant, with a traditional and cozy Ambiente. Food: the food was really good and not expensive. I had the Pad Thai, which has been provided in vegetarian version on request. Very good! Also the spring rolls were good and crunchy :) Service: staff was very friendly and welcoming! The restaurant is very busy, so better come early or reserve a table.

Being from Auckland, where there's a Thai restaurant in every suburb, (and not being a Thai food lover) I was pretty sceptical about the quality of Thai places in Taupo. This place is filled with a lot of cultural paintings and art work. Looked a little cluttered but very tidy. You could tell how authentic the food would be as soon as you walked in. Service was very good. Food was even better. Panang curry, stir fried beef and vege and pad Thai of course. One of the/if not the best Thai restaurants I've been to.

This might be one of the best green Thai curries I have ever had out of Thailand. Simply Divine. Coconut rice was fluffy and light. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will come back again!

As they are full, I bought from their take away shop. I ordered Pork with garlic and waited for 30min. (The staff told me before I ordered.) It was worth waiting! I loved it ❤even I forgot to tell them "without suger". (Usually Thai restaurants put suger for Kiwi customers .. otherwise they don't like it.)

Steam fish fillet is a must try, a bit spicy but is definitely appetizing! A bit sad when its tomyum soup was a bit different from the typical Thai Tum Yum soup becoz short of lemon grass and etc. Overall is quite nice.

Fantastic place to dine in when you're in Taupo. To start with, their customer service and food is excellent. When you dine in you might feel it's bit pricy but trust me it's worth it. Please do make a reservation if you're visiting over for dinner as this place is always packed.

Love this place! The staff are so kind and accommodating and the food is delicious. I’ve eaten there on separate occasions, six months apart and it was truly a delight each time. Even when we brought a table of 18, the food and service was excellent.

This was honestly the best Thai food I’ve ever had (and that’s over the last 35 years).. The spring rolls were fresh and crispy and very good. I had mixed seafood sweet basil for an entree. Almost made me weep.. shrimp, squid, mussels, scallops, vegetables.. My wife had vegetarian pad Thai and also found it great. Full bar, cocktail specials and a nice wine list with several by the glass. The place is on a quiet corner and offers outside seating. Highly recommended.

Delicious food, friendly service, great atmosphere. But the service was very slow and the restaurant was not even half-full. The taste and ingredients for most of the main dishes are almost the same, so if you order main dishes to share, you will get bored of them eventually. Overall, the price is expensive, the food portion is way too small, and it somehow feels like a tourist attraction.

yo yo yo yo we thought we'd try this restaurant because it was a bit more expensive than the one down the road expecting that it would be of a higher quality. However this was not the case. We paid $20 for some very standard and average Thai takeaways. We thought that given the higher price there would be something special about these takeaways but there were not. All that we are left with are some exorbitantly priced takeaways. Go get some fish and chips or something. At least they have no illusions about their inherent value.
