E.Another amazing dinner with the family. The pork in the sauce was done to perfection, so nice 😋 👌 unfortunately not oyster season. But everything else was amazing and always lovely staff.

S.We dined out here tonight and it was fabulous. Very well run. Food was cooked perfection. Buffet style. Very similar to the old Valentines. Even had Oysters. Soups, salads, mains, meats as well as chinese dishes , and of course dessert. Will definitely be back.
D.My Mum had her 90th birthday party here today and I can't fault them. The food and staff were fantastic. They were so accommodating with the change of numbers due to lockdown in other cities. The decor is lovely. Well done Oaktree.

p.The Pumpkin soups to die for,loved it.They've got good ole mashed spuds,ample selection of foods,except seafood .I only ate 11 oysters in half shells and there would've been 3 or 4 left.And they weren't doing a refill,probably because me tossing em back.haha.Friendly service and staff,overall.Would go again,money well spent.Ive only been twice, for birthdays.A recommended venue for occasions
S.Whilst this buffet is not "luxury class", I have given 5 stars as I believe that food options versus cost to the typical family are in the affordable budget range. Seafood, roasts, Salada, hot meals, soup, breads, desserts and more available. Great table service. Great price, including a discount for babies and seniors. Nice atmosphere and an enjoyable family experience. Highly recommended

Food was delicious, they have a great range of everything which I liked. Throughout the entire dinner service the staff were friendly and attentive which I really appreciated . c.New owners have really made a Huge improvement from our last visit 18 months ago. We had a group of 20 for a birthday. The staff were very attentive the food was delicious and there was lots of it, and $22 for a smorgasbord lunch is great value.

B.Great place to take your family customer service is good and a good range of foods. Sea food tastes like it been washed under a cold water tap but most food is delicious. And not all food is available when doors open at 5:30pm for dinner.
S.Lovely place, great service, selection of food and beverages. Unfortunately we got there around 730 and the food was cold/warm even though it was all under heat or in a bain-marie, still good for very hungry people just wish it was hot.
A.Meat dry and tough. Fish bites dry and cold. Steamed fish tastes horrid.

S.Amazing Customer Service who helped from start to finish, Tina has a great eye for detail and was an absolute gem throughout. I give them 4.5, the food was yum and there was a huge selection however it was not my favorite food and there were dishes that I did not like, however the food I did try and eat was delicious and I would like to thank Oaktree for there service and food.

t.Had my wedding celebration here a week before Christmas. The environment setting is beautiful, clean well spaced and air conditioned. We went in early to set up our table for 24 pax in a private area of the restaurant with the guidance & expertise of the maitre de. Had a variety of foods available, hot, tasty and plentiful.The staff are amazing polite and quick to clear used dishes from table. All our guest were absolutely impressed with the whole package. This place will always be special to my husband and I and would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone. AAA+

S.This is by far the best dining buffet in Tauranga. The variety of food is wonderful, standard buffet with quality Chinese additions like dimsum and noodles. Coming from 20 years in London and Chinatown its high praise. Soups wonderful, fresh fish options also. Fried fish, squid very tasty. Soups like chowder and pumpkin all very good. It really is exceptional as Citz clubs RSA s go. Highly recommended

B.The food was delicious !😋 We went for lunch buffet. If you are a seafoodie person you'll enjoy the selection prawns, mussels, seafood salads etc and apparently they oysters in the dinner buffet. Roast pork salads etc, puddings of pav, apple crumble etc etc, you must check out the website to see there full selection of food. I had a group of 27 ( booked in advance ) and they all enjoyed the food. The dress code was casual, tidy and upwards. Atmosphere was friendly, chilled and family orientated. Hot chips are available on request ( though not needed, for the kids or indeed adults as they prefer you to eat them nice and fresh instead of sitting under the heat light losing its integrity )
The manager is a friendly, loverly person to deal with, and was checking in occassionally to see how everything was going.
For $22 per adult and $1.50 per year of child up to 12 years this place is well worth experiencing. I know that one of my crowd who had booked into another place had cancelled and booked into this place after the food experience they had and I will be definitely returning for sure! 😃😃😋😃

L.We had a group of 33 yesterday. I rate this a five. We booking it was so easy I had to check to see if the got it. They had. The waitress we had was amazing. They can make or break an experience. She made it. The food was great and it was the cleanest self serve I have ever eaten in. Staff always refilling and clearing. This was my third visit. Cannot fault.

I.We had my mothers 90Th here, only spoiled by three teenage large school/sports groups who hoover up food like vacuum cleaners. Staff tried their best to keep up with resupplying the smorgasbord. Clean, tidy and modern. Plenty of food choices.
T.Came here for a birthday with a big group. The food was ok. Not very much too choose from. More cold foods than anything which was not what i felt like. So i mainly stuck to eating the cooked pork which was superb.
The staff could have been more helpful and accomodating. barely checked on our tables to take away our dirty dishes and we even stacked them to help.
When we were almost finished dining. At the time they had a promotion that children could receive a free goodie bag and free drink. I found this out when i took my child to the toilet and there was a sign on the cubicle door. I asked the person at the counter about it who seemed to hesitate for a moment. I understand we had approx 12 children and that may have been allot. But i felt the children would have benefited from these packs prior to my asking keeping them occupied rather than walking around bored.
Therefore front of staff could have been abit more accomodating towards our group and children.
Overall an ok place to eat for the first time. Some staff could have been better.
P.Awsum food from entrees to dessert. Staff are friendly and it is so affordable for an all you can eat buffet. I recommend you trying it out yourself, you wont regret it 👍😊 Valentines has nothing on the taste and variety of the food, service and cost...keep it up guys!!!

It was good before but it's so much better reminded me of the Nautilus Restraunt but different excellent buffet and service reasonable price for supers.. $21 each others around $23 for a quality full buffet meal

H.A fantastic meal. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Awesome value for money. The choices were wide and varied with lots of gluten free options. Heaps of cold things to enjoy and heaps of hot, even includes two types of soup.
I particularly enjoyed the seafood salad with had an explosion of flavours and was very light and fresh, as well as the lamb chops with mint sauce, so yummy. The roast kumera just melted in your mouth and was a great side for my chops and roast ham and pork belly.
The desert bar was amaxing!!! I could have 4 courses at that station alone! I started with apple crumble and custard, then creme brulee, then went on to pavlova, jelly and raspberry sorbet, following it with caramel chocolate mousse. I wanted some slices but although my portions we're very small I was getting full! But I couldn't help myself I wanted some lovely cheese and I totally couldn't resist having another creme brulee. This was the dish if the day for me and I would thoroughly recommend having it. It was so light and creamy with the perfect crack of caramelised sugar on top.
The smorgasbord price is cheaper Monday to Wednesday, but whatever day you go you will have amazing food. Family friendly, suits all ages.
