Awesome place to have a meal. The service was really friendly and nice. Food was delicious, butter chicken highly recommended. Cheese and garlic naan yuuummy! We really enjoyed our choice for a dinner :) we’ll come back !

Nice friendly business with a lavish touch. Had a birthday function out back with buffet & they were kind to receive & take care of bringing the decorations down. I found the butter chicken quite sweet, but i guess Indian food can be quite sweet tasting.

This place... this place serves THE BEST and I mean the absolute best Indian I have ever had. And I've been to India. Every bite has a burst of passion combined with beautiful flavour. My girlfriend and I love going there for lunch and every time we try a new dish, each one seeming better than the last. You can tell there food is made with a spice of love. Not only that, but the service is immaculate with the owner always greeting us with a smile, followed by polite and friendly conversation. He just makes the experience. Would give 10/10 if I could!

Wow, the butter chicken was one of the best I've ever tasted!! My kids gave it a 10/10. Naan was delicious, service was friendly. Will definitely be back!!

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, experienced and knowledgeable staff, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful dessert. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again. There is also a plenty of space (Banquet)to organise a party.

We often order from Vesey's, it's our go to for take out and we've never been disappointed. Their meals are always delicious, and always delivered extremely quickly. Staff are also really friendly - my husband and I are always impressed by how lovely the staff are. There really is nothing to fault about Vesey's.

We came in to have the lunch special - we got a butter chicken and Rogan josh! Both were delicious, authentic tasting curries, generous sized portions and the naan bread was amazing! Service was lovely and hearing the owners story was beautiful. Best place to eat in Te Puke!!!

So, pros and cons here for our takeaways. Pro's: Good price, 20% cheaper than Smart India in Te Puke. Everyone enjoyed the flavour of there meals - delicious. I ordered Goat Vindaloo and I was excited yet confused to see that my main container was much larger than the the butter chicken, chicken saagwala and lamb Rogan Josh. Cons: Unbelievable amount of bones in my meal. Not sure if this was intentional (meat on the bone), but to be honest half the bones didn't have any meat on them! I'll post a picture of the bones in the container.

Service is amazing and the prices are very good. Parking is not an issue either.

We ordered the Butter Chicken/Rice with Garlic Narn Bread. It was a celebration with 3 Adults and 2 young children going into Level 3. Ordering our meal by phone was easy, it was ready to be picked up at the stated time of 6pm. I waited at a table by the Restaurant door where Hand Sanitiser was provided, I scanned my card and was thanked and told to have a lovely weekend. The food tasted great, sometime you get large amounts of sauce and no chicken, we had large chunks in our Butter Chicken. I would definitely recommend Indian Roots to others.

Never been to this restaurant before but ordered online. Very easy and quick to do. Just make sure you choose an option (mild, medium, hot). The pick-up was within 10 minutes and it tasted awesome. Kids loved it although "they're not keen on Indian". Definitely will do again. Staff was friendly and helpful. Full marks.

Outstanding service and best Indian we've ever had anywhere in the BOP, Waikato or Even anywhere in the Greater Auckland area for that matter!! Well worth it. Well worth the drive, well worth the wait and well worth the price. Driving to Te Puke for dinner may seem like a great deal of effort but the warm welcome from Sean & Co. makes it all worth it. I was most impressed with their vast range of healthy Indian options available including the incredible whole meal rotis. If I had to recommend three dishes: the mildly spicy Chickpea dish ‘Chana Masala’, the fresh ‘Goan Fish Curry’ and the spinach/potato combo ‘Saagwala Aloo’. Now go on and get yourself down to Te Puke tonight. Indian roots is simply well worth it
