C.Where to start?! The staff are fantastic, friendly and very helpful. Then there is the food, bright fresh flavors, light and simply delicious. Definitely will be back soon. Thank you to everyone for such a fantastic dining experience.
D.I wish I could give more stars, the servers were extremely friendly and efficient. The food was amazing the best I have had in Timaru for a very long time. It's so creative, full of flavour definitely nothing boaring. We had the chefs choice so was exciting not knowing what was coming out, would definitely do it again.
T.Staff was 5/5, atmosphere was 5/5.
We were really excited to try. We had the boa pork bun which was great!
The Ramen however missed.its mark. The ingredients independently were great quality but the broth failed to bring them together as tasted like plain boiled water.

B.8th September - This is my first time trying this Japanese 🏯 restaurant 🍴. I saw the reviews on Google Maps 🗺 and it seems to be highly rated. So, I decided to have a try.
I order a teriyaki salmon and a ginger beer 🍻. It was a lunch special, which the dish is NZD $19 while the drink is NZD $5. The wait wasn't long, it took approximately 5 to 10 minutes after ordering to receive my food.
The salmon fish was cooked nicely, and covered with teriyaki sauce. Not bad, it was delicious. I didn't realise the rice 🍚 was hidden underneath the salad 🥗 and salmon fish. I thought 💭 it was strange that the rice 🍚 hasn't arrive, but once I scooped it, I found the rice 😅.
Overall, it was a good experience from this Japanese restaurant 🍴.
This is a licensed (🍻🍸🍷🍾🍹🍺) eatery. There is plenty of seating area.
Street parking 🅿 only.
They accept cash and EFTPOS including credit card payments (Paywave payments are available, for those who want to know).

B.First time visitor and very likely to return. The lunch menu was very interesting, and I found the Laksa salad with chicken and prawns really hit the flavor buds and with just the right amount of heat. My friend also enjoyed the Teriyaki salmon salad, both served with an extra bowl of salad, and steamed rice. Service was very good.
S.Arrived with a few friends and sat down to a fantastic meal, wonderful drinks, and the perfect atmosphere for the day after New Years.
Even though Saikou staff weren't prepared for the haul of customers that were there and subsequently ran out of items on their menu, they worked hard to ensure our experience was wonderful, apologising and making sure we had alternatives.
Get some rest team, you rock!

J.Decent Japanese restaurant. Had a quick lunch while passing through town and food was good (had curry and wife had seafood yaki udon). They serve loads of Japanese whisky if anyone fancies.
