R.Spacious area, very tidy and clean. Menu was disappointing because there were 3 options that weren't available. Had the fish tacos, these were very bland even with the spicy sauce. Beef nachos were nice, Mince had a lot of flavor. Good size tea pots for herbal tea.
My Vaccine pass was checked upon arrival, I sat and waited for my Mum. When she arrived, we went to the counter to order food and then the guy asked me for my pass again. I said I showed you but he said he's the only one that checks them and he didn't check mine so insisted. I showed him and then he said he remembered my name and that he did check it.
I haven't been here for a while and wanted to check it out because people have spoken about the new owners and the food. Wasn't the best experience but I will return to see if my thoughts will change.
R.Great spot in a cool town. Off the main Highway in the township. Great service, sizeable portions and inside or pavement seating. The staff went the extra mile allowing us to eat past closing time. Fast service. Worth stopping in Tokoroa just to sample the fare.
K.Prices are good. Have eaten there a few time now of the menu and food was cooked well but felt like ingredients were cheap. Sea food basket the fish was uneatable and the rest low quality. Customer service was ok.

I.I was there for a meeting & only had a herbal tea which was served in nice china. Unfortunately, the rather loud music playing overhead made conversation and hearing others somewhat difficult. When I went to pay, the chap at the till took payment from 2 people in front of me, then started filling dessert orders while the queue of those waiting to pay grew longer & longer. It took longer to pay than it did to drink the whole pot of tea! Not an efficient set up at all - real pity

Food was decent, unfortunately last time we went quite a few things were unavailable for various reasons. Wrong muffin was given, but was made right easily. Felt very sorry for the ONE staff that was there to serve, hand out food, clear tables, make coffees, etc on a pretty busy Sunday afternoon. Management, please do better!!
Would go back again to support our local.

A.I have been there a few times now and while the staff are really lovely and the decor is beautiful I'm still very disappointed with the lack of gluten free options. In fact there is only 1 option in the cabinet,and the coffee is only like warm. There are other cafes in town that do a much better job catering for people with dietary needs
R.Great cafe, great food and the best coffee in town. Spacious and ample seating, the staff are a credit to the business, they're so welcoming. Their hours start at 07:00 but if they see you waiting out side before then, they'll open early for you. Give them a go the next time you're in town, you'll be going back more more.

b.Best coffee I have ever tasted. Wonderful warm and friendly staff. Great selection of food in the cabinet as well as a board menu. Decor is tasteful and of a very high standard. Would highly recommend
