As a vegetarian this was the first place I found in Wanaka to visit and I was not disappointed! I love the way you choose what size and number of cooked foods/salads you want. Every choice was super tasty. Perfect for a veggie/carnivore couple!

One of the best restaurants in NZ. Would definitely recommend if you’re in Wanaka. You can choose a variety of dishes per plate. The meat is very tender and full of flavor. Everything is made from scratch, creative and wholesome. The cakes and desserts are very good too.

Theeeee best slow cooked beef cheeks on the planet, period. Plus they have a great variety of salads and other uniquely flavoured hot dishes to choose from. Dinner menu is put out at 5, $20 for a medium takeaway, worth every cent!

The food is very flavoursome, especially their salads. The meat is tender, and portion sizes are good for the price, considering the quality. The food is slightly too oily for my liking, but still the best place for breakfast or lunch in Wanaka.

Tasty, nourishing food and good value for money! The medium plate ($20) was a good portion size for dinner. The onion gratin was most surprisingly delicious. I would also recommend the meatballs. The food was replenished frequently and still steaming hot when we started eating it.

What a unique concept to have right in the center of Wanaka’s shopping/tourist shops (better than another burger or ice cream joint). Fast food but healthy and original, not too expensive either. Our meat options were fabulous, the vegetable options fresh and interesting, and for us, the greatest revelation: onions graten! Soooo delicious.

Yummy, healthy, hearty dishes that you assemble yourself! Choose slow cooked meat, sides and salads with the desired plate side. Fresh juice, coffee and other treats - everything is super delicious and made with love. It was too late to take pictures as we rushed to eat it all lol

Hard to go past the beef cheeks at Big Fig, but I am glad I did this time, the yoghurt meatballs were brilliant. Overall - hot, fresh comfort food on a cold day, you can't beat it.

Great little place to get a lot of delicious variety (and your 5+ a day) for a solid price. It's not every day that I get to come across good vegetarian/vegan food! Will be coming back for sure 👍
