Great little Korean restaurant in Wanaka! My partner and I and our friend came here and decided to share food amongst us to enjoy it all. We got Beef Bulgogi, Don Kasu, Dak Galbi, Yum Yum Dak, Saewoo Jogae and of course Kimchi - it was all delicious and freshly made. Monica was phenomenal and always checked up us, making sure everything was good. She had fantastic customer service and we had good yarns with her whilst we had Soju shots (not including her), she is definitely a big part of why this dining experience was fantastic. She even allowed us to stay a little past closing time of 9:30pm so we could finish our soju. Highly recommend!

Tasty tteokbokki and tofu dish. Delicious fried chicken. Friendly service. Only negative was the lack of variety of side dishes. Overall a great homely dinner experience. Recommend the Korean Dessert Coffee!

We walked in at 6:15pm on Tuesday night and found that lots of tables were available. But people started to turn up after 6:30pm and the restaurant was full then. Only 2 staffs looking after the customers and busy walking in and out of the kitchen. Another two staff were cooking in the kitchen. It took some time to take your order and wait for the food.
The chicken soup is yummy.

The best Korean restaurant I've experienced since returning to New Zealand from Asia. Highly recommend this place

Deliiiicious food and such a wonderful woman running the place. Good price and BYO. I would definitely recommend this spot.

Small Korean place on the corner of the street. It’s on the 2nd floor but easily accessible. Do note they don’t have high chairs for kids.
Realised it was also host to tour groups from China it was pretty crowded when I was there.
Food is pretty decent and service is good.

Amazing little Korean restaurant. Friendly staff and authentic food that really hits the spot. I got the Bulgogi with a side of rice and Kimchee Jigae. They make their kimchee in house and it is spectacular.
E.
Super friendly staff and delicious food. Highly recommend the Tteobokki and Japchae.
K.
Incredible. Their homemade spicy sauce is delicious. We wanted to buy it! Definitely get raw egg in the bibimbap. Best Korean food I've had in a long time.

The lady serving us was so lovely and friendly! My bulgolgi was super tasty and my partner enjoyed his meal too. Was a great place to have the final meal of our holiday. Thank you 🥰

Awesome food and excellent service, Kimchie stew its a must try
J.
Friendly service. We had takeaways. Mine was a soup dish which was basically miso soup with veges not especially tasty. Wifey had Bibimbap and said it was delicious
M.
Awesome soup with kimchi, pork and tuna, loved it. And my friend was amazed by meal with fried rice. And the view from second floor is nice too.
L.
Very authentic Korean restaurant. Their bulgogi is very on point and taste very good. Do try their fried chicken as it is one of the best fried chicken in town! The only cons is that their side dishes were only limited to 3 dishes, which were all very tasty too. Service was great and friendly. Definitely try out this Korean restaurant if you are craving for Korean foods!

Just went to lunch here with 3 Koreans, everyone loved their food and it came quickly! My bulgogi was the best I've ever had and I've visited Korea 8 times (and go to LA K-Town often) Has nice Mtns view and little lake view as well!

Better than I expected. Excellent service

Price is reasonable and the lady who served us was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Will definitely recommend it.

Although the food was decent and price was ok, I wouldn't associate the flavours with Korea. We ordered japchae (glass noodles) which was flavoured with dashi and sesame oil. The crispy chicken was basically karage chicken, served with shaved cabbage. The stired fried noodles was yaki udon. The banchang included kimchi and raw carrots served with goljujang. So overall, tasty food that leans much more towards Japanese flavours.
S.
Absolutely divine... the starters were delish and the bibimbap out of this world. So glad it was suggested we go here for a meal. Service was A1. Will definitely be back
B.
Always my go to Korean restaurant in Wanaka. Food is great. Korean front of house awesome. But to have a European serving is a bit weird. I will be back though
A.
Bibimbap was delicious, good value and prepared quickly. place has a nice vibe and friendly staff. Also tried the Korean grape soda which was nice
S.
Surprisingly authentic Korean food tucked away at the far end of Wanaka's busiest street. Homemade kimchi and a good selection of traditional Korean dishes. The best Korean food you'll find in this part of NZ!

Friendly staff. Really lovely meals. Good prices. Nice and cosy. Not fancy. But well made food and it came out quickly. We walked.in with no booking. And they gave us (3) a spot straight away.
(Went there in winter near the door. Gets cold when people walking in leave it open. Which was aall the time. They need an 'automatic door closer'.) Otherwise great meal. And good value for money!
W.
Good food, great service, nice korean restaurant. Small menu, not much to choose from.
M.
Very tasty! We had the Korean sushi, pork dumplings and beef with potato noodles on a stove. This last one was delicious!
