Reviews of Warbirds & Wheels

Great service, friendly staff, good food ( bacon and eggs with ciabatta cooked to perfection) and for the first time we have heated cups to pour the tea (good attention to detail).
Only down is because the building is all glass, feel quite hot inside in a summer day.

This place is amazing. So much to see here. Apart from automobiles and planes, there is all this memorabilia, which takes you way back. Great little gift shop and even has a cafe. Allow plenty of time here as there really is so much to see. Entry price os well worth it.

It was great there was many old cars and planes from 1920 and after many of the planes were from WW2. each plane and car has a little board with some history on it.

A truly world class facility! The car collection is impressive even more so that majority of the vehicles run. The aircraft component of the museum is small (5 airframes) with 2 of them being replicas however the static exhibits are well put together and make for interesting reading. The retro diner and gift shop round off the experience well.

Great place to visit, really interesting history on aeroplanes and cars. The cars are in immaculate condition. Absolutely beautifull. There is also fashion and art to see.

We only had lunch there ... the food was good . Next time ill give the museum a go ... would be cool if they give you a discounted ticket if you also dined there ....just saying ...

Loved every minute of the displays. The cafe was great too.
C.
A bit underwhelming if I’m honest... as the other reviews said plenty of American cars in mint condition but not many ‘warbirds’ though. The Christchurch museum has much more attractions and it’s free!
Diner looks very nice but I haven’t eaten anything so I can’t tell if it’s any good...
K.
Very nice cafe but disappointed that the signs are still out for the museum when we were informed by the lady in the cafe that it closed down some time ago. Need to update the signage as it's misleading.
B.
Amazing coffee and breakfast, and the staff are all so lovely 😊 great place to eat with young kids.
