It’s beautiful to have a Noodle combination(No.32) in a chilly rainy day. Quick served and friendly staff. We came to the right place and appreciate it! The No.20, not sure what’s the name… is yummy, too! Highly recommend!

The Pho here is richer then Saigon Taste (another popular Vietnamese restaurant in Wellingtons CBD). If that's your style then Fisherman's plate is a perfect fit. The fried food menu is well priced and good quality. Avoid the Sweet and Sour pork.

Great little cafe tucked away on a side street. Had the Vietnamese spring roll which is super authentic as per Hanoi standards. Also had the seafood noodle soup which while unexpected the white fish was lightly bartered and fried to perfect. The baby bamboo and chilly sauce made this a welcome meal in Wellington. Just want I needed. All up $25 for satisfying lunch.

Was a bit of a suprise - got recommended by a local and wondered what i was in for when i saw the decor, the Man serving was a tad busque but very effecient and honest about the delay on food, not knowing what to order i tried the Pork n Prawn Crepe omelet - amazing - not sure i managed the eating technique but superb flavours.

You've got to try the Vietnamese sausage rice rolls! I've been visiting this place for years and always been pleased with the food. Service is generally fast and efficient. Don't expect overmuch from the decor. Definitely visit - you won't be disappointed.

Food here was great. They have both Vietnamese food and the traditional fish and chips, so they can cater to most preferences. Food here was reasonably priced, with the Vietnamese food coming in medium-sized bowls for around $15, while a standard-sized fish costs about $5 crumbed. Both foods (Vietnamese and fish and chips) tasted very good. I would recommend this place.

This is a small cafe-restaurant centrally located off Willis St. Judging by the orders their fish and chips are popular but we did not order that (nor the pho) and so must reserve our opinions on those for another day. FPS has a small menu comprising 3 basic groups (apart from the finger foods like spring rolls, etc.). These were the stir-frieds, noodle-salads, and noodle-soups (pho). The beef noodle salad dishes we ordered had tender, nicely cooked beef on rice noodles (about palm-size portion) and about the same amount again for the fine slaw-salad. The taste was good but the portion-size was more suited for a child or light eater (and pricey for the size). On a cold wintry day this didn't cut the mustard as a hearty, warming, comfort food. Perhaps the pho or fnc might have been a better choice? On a positive note the service and speed was fine as was the casual ambience of a takeaway-cafe.

We come here regularly (about once a month) and have rare beef or chicken pho. Both are amazing, served with bean sprouts, mint, lemon, chilli (really hot) and lettuce. They roll out the pho like the pros they are, does not take long. The location is clean and the staff efficient. Great value, fragrant broth, and good central location.

While the beef noodle soup--or Pho Bo--is the best dish, this is an all-round flavour party, without any of the frills that can make Asian food unnecessarily expensive. While it is usually very busy around midday, it makes for a great afternoon lunch or dinner. The soups are delicious, and the hot chips are crunchy. Everyone I bring here goes back soon.

This place is legendary for the Pho. It looks like a fish and chip shop, but behind that innocuous facade lies a great takeaway. I've never had such a hot Pho, even without adding the side chilli this was already hot, but the small pot took it to scalp drenching levels of sweat. If this is your thing, this is THE place.

This is by far just favourite cheap eatery in Wellington, I go for the pho, and the pho is amazing. Everytime I gone I leave with the feeling of wanting to go back again because it just tastes so damn good. Must try if you in the area, it's not far from cbd, so a casual stroll will get you here easy enough.

(Translated) I like the taste of soup and beef tongue in my favorite rice noodles! Instead, I had a lot of fish sauce and a lot of lemon, but it was okay. It is very good because it is like Vietnamese local to give vegetables separately. It was plain but the roll was delicious. I'm with Fish and Chips. It's a good place to simply eat!
