WOAP burger is good but as the review below me, it lacks more sauce or onion to balance the amount of meat. Just leaving 4 stars because of that, also the Mighty Joe sauce on the jungle fries is spicy, and it doesn't say that on the menu. OG simple is really good! Service was amazing, specially because we've never been to GB before. Keep up the good work!

I don't understand why more people aren't raving about this place... We've tried every burger and we're hooked. Stand outs are the silverback, flying monkey and virunga (vegan burger - pictured). It's so hard to snap a pic because we can't help ourselves... The chicken nuggs (with mighty joe sauce & pickles) are also delicious. So so lucky to have this place so close (but also dangerous). Can't wait to try the new items they're introducing! Whatever you're doing team, it's working.

The problem I have with large burgers is that they generally feel like one oversized loaf of the same flavour, making the eating an endurance event. You can feel like one of those competitive eaters, just cramming mouthful after mouthful of meat, sauce and bread into your gob. To really excel with a delicious big burger you need to introduce a range of flavours and textures. Alternately you need to reduce your portion size to ensure the flavour doesn’t become repetitive. Unfortunately my first experience with Gorilla Burger proved I wasn’t up to the challenge. I went for the Spicy Monkey and Jungle Fries and found the the same smoky sauce flavour overwhelmed both. I got through 2/3rds of it before I had to tap out. I’m sure there are others with a larger appetite who will smash these servings but for me it was definitely a case of too much of a good thing.

Only place open for late night food, in eastern suburbs Wellington. Spicy chicken burger was cooked beautifully, not much spice flavour even though it was chilli hot, nice enough burgers, but a bit expensive I thought. Absolutely delicious crinkle cut chips. Cheers

Burger was good. Nice textured patty & good flavours. Server was inexperienced + overwhelmed by a group. But at the end of the night they managed to somehow significantly overcharge us when we asked to divide the bill. Lucky we caught the mistake.

Surprisingly disappointing experience, drove across town specifically for the OG Gorilla Burger and our whole table had a fairly bland experience. Cold buns, kinda soggy sides and fairly dry fries.

WOAP. Burger was good, but feel it needed a lil more pickled onion to help with all that meat.

Burgers are real nice but pricey. Portobello mushroom burger was great.

Everyone here was super friendly and welcoming! I felt like I was literally the only person in the joint...and only partially because I was! It was a late lunch, so most normal eaters had already come and gone. But it was nice having the place to myself on a cold and drizzly day. I ordered the vegan burger - the Virunga!! And was promptly offered a side of fries for $1. It was only my second time ordering from here, and it was just as delicious both times! I can see the dining area being a fun place to hang out too. Nice bar. And perfect location! If you're in Miramar and have the itch for a great meal, I'd highly recommend this spot! Thanks for the delightfully late lunch!

Labour day out in Miramar... My mate was over so we wanted to eat locally.. Why not try the Wellington burger 🍔 on a plate over at 🦍 🍔 ... We order off the and went to pick it up... getting the fries with Labour-fries You know your in the right place when it’s packed out.. But here’s where the story makes a difference... Your employee Becky notice that we had been sitting there waiting for our food... (longer then normal). She comped us a drink for waiting and went and found our order! She an enviable employee to your business and I like you should recognize her for this... Cheers 🍻

Solid burger joint. Good smash burgers and loaded fries. Worth the trip out to Miramar

Didn't like the bun much but the contents were really nice. You can get a great portion or chips to go with Burgers. Oh and the fried gherkins on top are yummy enough to deserve being a side option themselves

Would give 4.5* if I could. Burger was pretty damn good, no nonsense. Only knock I give is for the seasoning on the fries which I thought was too heavy on salt. Loved the touch of wholegrain mustard in the aioli.

The burgers are nice, very fast service as well.

Gorilla Burger 🦍🍔 Excellent burgers larger than the other place down by the airport. Features a free spacies machine while you wait. All but the chicken burgers are available as gluten free for no extra charge. Just note that they don't take cash, eftpos and credit card only. You can order online, and they will deliver.

Burgers were tasty and the sides we're goid too. The man who served us was very nice and informative as it was our first time there.

Delicious food and a great location doesn’t do this place justice, there is so much more to it. Lovely seating inside or outside to suit everyone. Friendly staff and simply amazing food.

It was OK. Both of us got the O.G. Single patty. But we were disappointed by the cold bun. It should have been toasted or at least warm. But it seemed like it came out of a bag from the fridge. On the plus side, the cheesy boiz appetizer was great. I might go back and give the chicken burger a try. But the regular burger was average.

Came in to try the woap burger the other day. Was served by the lovely blonde waitress. Service was great and the burger was incredible, the cheese sauce is to die for! Will definitely be returning

Just go here - you won't regret it! The OG burger is awesome. The jungle fries are pretty good. Lots of crispy bacon bits.

The burgers taste awesome, but boy are they dripping from grease! Tried two different variations hoping the outcome would be different, but sadly it wasn't. Please address the greasiness somehow, I'd like to eat more of these burgers!

Average burger, very small and over priced. Chicken nuggets need to be bigger. Burger bun should be a big bigger and lightly toasted. Meal should come with a few hot chips

Reminds me of some good not too greasy American fast food. Tasty, great price considering the size and ingredients, will be taking the in laws there when they visit next

It was lovely as always, the service was awesome, patient and kind... everything tasted amazing (as it always does)... fully recommend if you want a quick and scrummy outing with ya kids. So good!!
