M.Mmmm, I can just remember the smell of fresh bread and the sound of French🗼 music playing in the background.
This quaint Café was absolutely beautiful.
The food was fantastic and the staff were very helpful.
This is such a great little space to hangout in.☕
T.Strong coffee, beautiful homemade apricot jam with the baguette. The omelet was also really tasty. Looking forward to our next visit.
L.Delicious homemade French food such as tarte tatin, quiche, brulée and other classic French delights. Coffee was good and service excellent. They brought our quiches out and waited until we'd finished before bringing our sweet tarts, rather than loading up our table all at once. The ambience was nice too. Cost for two, including one coffee and a bottle of mineral water, was $58.50.
Next to the café is Le Marché deli with a wide range of gorgeous cheeses, chocolate, jams, condiments and all sorts of things.We couldn't help but stock up! Note there's a range of olive oil from Crete that's currently half price as it's past its "best before" date.
T.Incredible food only matched by its brilliant, authentic service. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. The chef is outstanding and the price is a steal.
J.Absolutely amazing cafe and true French food. Just go to 1st floor 262 Thorndon Quay, Wellington. Easy to find. Veronique is a wonderful host and awesome chef. Most delicious apple tart "Tarte Tatin" that we have ever had. All the dishes were awesome - of course the escargot are a must. Wonderful selection of cheeses too. We will be back to this iconic cafe as soon as we can. We just love it! What a great place!
S.The food is nice. It is in a funny spot, upstairs in what is essentially a lobby surrounded by offices. But if you are looking for an authentic French culinary experience in Wellington, you should try it.

All food is beautifully prepared and presented and the staff are always accommodating and welcoming. Best lemon tart in Wellington by my reckoning
