Very cool and fancy, one of the most structurely advanced McDonald's franchises in the region. Food service and drive through do not live up to the quality promised by the extensive interior floor plan. Very awkward to drive into but still good number of carparks because of connection to supermarket/mall. Once ordered a Big Mac with 10 patties and maximum ingredients, far too much salt.

Service varies and nothing to do with how busy they are. One day the food is good and other days, poorly packed and over half the drink is full of ice (happened today) I'll keep going but definitely not 5 stars

I love this McDonald's. It is by far the most organised with the most on to it staff. It's also clean and just consistently all round a step up. When the food etc has to be the same as other it's the service that I can be ultimate game changer.

Really need to either invest in some technology, or train your staff how to manage two lanes of drive through. Frustrating to sit and wait while the other lane keeps on moving. Other than that, a fairly typical McDonald's experience.

Was busy through drive through today but daughter's 2nd covid vaccine so had promised Maccas. Queue was quick moving and after 5 mins our turn. Drinks were hot and food was hot. Excellent service.

Food is unhealthily delicious but when I check online to see if the store is open, sometimes it says they are 24/7 only for me to show up and they're closed, please stop doing this I love a good 3am maccas feed

It was like totally a McDonald's. Pretty much everything you'd want. My only downside was that you couldn't order a lettuce wrapped burger on the self service machines. I totally order just the burger and cheese and pickle and that's just what I got.... cheese on the bottom so it stuck to the cardboard.... ok.ok.ok.ok cheese on top always. It's like the missionary of the food world right. Anyway I said please Mr Maaca d can you help me out and sort me out a lettuce rap instead. The lovely young lady went not a problem and made me a fresh lettuce wrapped burger for my Celiac daughter. Go team. Happy Macca happy little one. Ahhh frozen drinks spook good.

Nice clean McDonalds, fast and friendly service. AND these guys are following all the covid guidelines. Good on them.

Classic macdonald,, everything one would expect from macdonald,standard food , service friendly ,apart they had forgotten about the fast in fast food

Order is often not filled correctly. I now feel I have to unpack and repack the bag every time to check that the nuggets and all the burgers made it into the bag - They always allow me to pick up missing items next time I order, but not very helpful when someone's lunch or dinner is not there or incomplete! Driving back to pick up missed items is an unnecessary and frustrating situation!

Parking an issue. Takes ages to order, staff are mostly prioritizing drive through and Uber pickups. Had to wait almost 20 minutes to be served while being 3rd in the line. Staff could see the backlog of instore customers hence no one came to the available till to serve up. One store I wouldn't consider going back to.

Good food, sometimes the drivethru is ridiculously packed though, food is usually hot and fresh

Took advantage of the MacDonalds app, went through the driveway... Order was ready quickly and efficiently.

So busy one person doing 2 drive through.

Pretty good spot to eat at top level is better, more toilets and more seating arrangements and space from noise.

I can say each place isn't the same. Some times staff are awesome. Some are take of leave. The off on barista is a good luck.

It's a McDonald's right. Some days it's good other days not as much. Coffee always seems to have a wait. Might be a good idea to order your coffee first, then food if you can. I was dine in and the food arrived a good 5 to 10 mins before the coffee. All great taste when it did arrive.

Service seems okay! But food standards maintained above average

This is our first visit to Mac's in J'ville and we were pleasantly surprised to find the place so quiet and civil (no rowdy crowds as in some M joints) but then we arrived on a Tues evening, the day after Labour Monday holiday (and well past the school's-out mayhem time?). The location was great, next to the mall and so there was no shortage of car-parks. The building itself was very spacious especially the top storey with plenty of good seating and VIEWS, what a treat! As for service it was faultless, the staff were most courteous and went the extra mile to ensure we were well looked after. It's certainly one of the best Mac-joints in Wellington.

It's the best McDonalds experience in Wellington. The restaurant layout is fun and lots of nooks to find a private spot or sit as a big group. Had nothing but good experiences with the staff as well.

Accessible and convenient using the drive thru

Mostly fine, but sometimes got wrong menu by drive thru.

Accommodated our group of 10 excited kids as discussed on a visit earlier in the week, but their internal comms needs work as I was told off by a staff member for not alerting them to our group coming. Food typical McD's standard, my order was incorrect and 3 of the 11 Happy Meals were missing chips. Happy kids though and expectations for this "restaurant" were met.

Very nice place to hang out with friends and family.. Excellent location.. Adequate parking.. Prompt and cheerful service by all the staff.. Neat, clean and tidy washrooms.. Very nice play area for children to romp around.. Lots of seating areas.. Nice burgers and foods..

i have seen advertisement for the new frozen coke drinks but every time i ask about it I'm told we don't have it and lately it seems like every second day the normal frozen coke drink is not working/out of order. I enjoy my local Mc D's but if your not going to sell something that is being advertised can you please put out a note or something saying so.

Its good, team is not that friendly and smiling, always running for finishing their work. But ambient is good to spend time on. Playground is very small so kids will get bore soon.

The drive through is fantastic. They put the fast in fast food. The car that was out on the road trying to get into KFC across the road when a drove past wasn't even at the order window by the time I drove off with my McDonald's

Very average, when I visit they have usually run out of something, (annoying when in the drive through), a machine is not working or as was the case yesterday the soft serve was so soft it collapsed within a minute. Will be going to alternatives in Johnsonville moving forward.

Drive thru staff seemed uninterested as I approached the window to pay. She wore a hoodie over her uniform in a scruffy representation which indicated she did not take any pride in being a respectable employee of the organisation.

It wasn't bad. Nothing extra ordinary about it. I'm from US. I enjoyed the differences in food in New Zealand McDonald's. Spicy Nashville Chicken sandwich I think is a NZ exclusive. It had carrots and onions! Interesting..!! Anyway, the prices were so high. McChicken was like $7. The Nashville sandwich was $12. But overall it was fine.

Tried the self order and deliver to table. Easy enough to use ordering but fries were lukewarm and under cooked burger was cooked okay but lukewarm.

Attitude from the guy speaking in the drive thru and greasy food. Have had better experiences inside the store and playplace is usually clean.

Called in on a Friday night. Great service from the lady at the counter and was really fast getting our order by using the ordering machine inside. The hot chocolate was very nice. I was also very happy to see the security guard walking around inside especially late night.

Really slow. It seemed as though having 2 drive through lanes was too much for them to keep up with. It wasn't busy, but it took ages for them to take orders from the cars waiting. 3 cars including me were there at the time I was there.

Great place! Two stories, the top having an amazing view. Four self ordering stations and great service (if you know how it works). Beautiful food and lovely environment. Playground downstairs is a little grubby and smelly but that's kinda what you'd expect with an indoor children's playground. Definitely recommend!

Generally this is a typical McDonald's - fast food, reasonably clean an comfortable. Later in the evening, though, cleanliness suffers. The seating area has been littered with cast-off food on the floor and used packaging left on tables while staff can be heard parking about in the kitchen. I'd avoid the place after 9:30.

Staff very accommodating and kind, come off very friendly. Food is always delicious 😋

Worst big mac ive had in years. The chips were also lacking any flavour.

Quality was usual Macca's- grilled chicken garden salad was made well. Staff could pick up the pace a bit more during peak hour. This was my local Macca's growing up as a kid!

Bigger branch, has mc cafe, upstairs seating has a view, play ground, toilets clean . . As expected. Drive thru efficient with wait parks, parking is adjacent as petrol station in between

Machines are always breaking down and they are always running out of things. Fries are not consistent - sometimes they have salt and sometimes they don't, sometimes they are warm and sometimes they are cold. The upstairs is a nice place to do a bit of work while you enjoy lunch but avoid after school hours when the onlsow and newlands college kids swarm the place.

Went to McDonalds Johnsonville. Was great service. Only problem (a big one to me) was drive through was so narrow didn't think I would get my little car through

They do they're job well and I have yet to get a hair or a wrong order from them.

Nice and clean as you'll expect though needed to get the order reheated as the food was cold. A small playground for the kids which they had fun in.

Very busy, it's draw of the luck who you get on the day, not everyone who works here is a plonker, some staff are very friendly and competent, but if you're in a hurry in rush hour it's better to go elsewhere for a quick eat.

I once picked up a premium range burger at the end of a very early morning shift, around 3am, only to come home and find burnt bacon and shredded buns with stale lettuce! Was too tired to go back and complain but was disappointed by the experience and haven't been there for burgers since!

Always great food from the team at Porirua. Sometimes they muck the order up, dosent always happen but when it does, they normally fix it with no problems.

Popped into Johnsonville maccas to celebrate a school event. Standard fair but what is it with those touch screens? If they're broken like the one we used was then the staff come out to help at another kiosk. Silly!

It was good, and relatively cheap ($5 BBQ Chicken Burger Combo). Tasted nice and was hot. Attendants were helpful.

The food was what you expect at McDonald's, however they locked upstairs and downstairs was packed with so many people there was no seating. This is not the first time that this has happened here.

The kiosks are really good and allow u to customize almost everything but only like 2 out of 4 of them work

Johnsonville was shocking. First when I ordered the eftpos failed so we still had to wait on line to pay as only 1 check out. Then the food took ages

It's McDonald's. Fastest fast food in jville, but with so many options, there's nicer things you can get if you have ten minutes.

Open all night every night. Even the inside resturant is open. Parking is can be bit annoying during the day time but otherwise service is as expected.
