The staff really need to work on the cleaning, the bin was full and stuff the overflowing. I'm guessing it's just McDonald's not putting enough people on shift and making employees overwork and greedy managers making bonus.

Well sized McDonald's store located in the centre of the shopping district. Standard features including counter service and table, Cafe, internet ordering. Elevator to the first floor that is taken up with the McDonald's. Large, well spaced dining area with large bay windows overlooking the street below. Public and disabled toilets / rest rooms located inside. Is a wheel chair friendly facility. Has free WIFI. Located near other fast food / short order type restaurants/ outlets

Nice joint. Pretty tidy and a good amount of seating. Good takes a while to come out and staff at run no hurry to serve and not overly friendly.

Located at the entrance of the Wellington cable car the McD is very posh and clean restaurant. Plenty of place to seat and high chair available. Good for small groups or family. McCafe is available too. The view of busy street is good and setting of this place is very nice. Clean toilets and drinking is available. The only thing is the Wi-Fi doesn't work here.

I’m liking the efficiency of a touch screen and table delivery. Soon I will never need to see or talk to a staff member at all... just install a sushi-like delivery train and we’re truly living in the future (or at least the 60’s vision of the future)

Awesome service, had an issue with a coffee special on the Mcdonalds App. I approached the staff who were awesome, explained why it sometimes happens and got me my coffee for the special price really quickly. It's hard to find good service like this, cheers team.

Nicely refurbished (it used to be a dump). It's a relatively small space, but now it's a nice place to look down onto Lambton Quay from. The food is exactly what you would expect to find at any other maccas anywhere else in the world. The sales are quite automated, they'd prefer you to use a machine than interact with a real person, but there is table service. Escalator up and stairs down.

The restaurant has been recently renovated and the difference it makes is massive- the atmosphere is more that of a chic cafe than a fast food restaurant. My only points of criticism are that the service is slow at times, and the bathrooms leave a lot to be desired.

Newly renovated, nicely decorated with green plants, nice and clean (no more pigeons), well presented. Self servicing kiosks available. Table service available. Attentive staff, nice and friendly. Window seating is particularly good for people watching on busy lambton quay.

The staff here work exceptionally hard and I hope they get some recognition for that. My only criticism would be that the Screen that displays the numbers never seems to match the delivery of the food - which means staff sometimes waste time telling numbers to people in headphones etc.

Quick and easy using the electronic machine from which you can select takeaway or table, booking a table is easy using the attached table Number tags, the shop is very convenient and located near to Wellingtons Cable Car, book, sit, and served, a clean and tidy shop, well worth a visit

The place feels a bit messy and awkward, especially the bathrooms. The dining area itself is a nice surprise though. Not recommended for anyone with mobility issues due to the entrance.

Was great. I prefer to buy with people in the balcony. When I use the machines the paper always ends and I do not remember my number, plus does not show the happy meal toys from the moment.

McDonald's we all know what the food is like. Though a bit more attention to table cleaning would be great. It's not nice to be unable to find a table with out food scraps from previous dinners everywhere and the bins are often full. Other than that it's a good place

Nice clean store with good staff. If you sit near the window, you get a great view down onto a busy Wellington street. I went with to-the-table service and my food came out quickly. Staff member even went and bought me sauce when requested.

Ambient music was very loud compared to most McDonald's restaurants I've been in. 3 x Cheeseburgers were squashed for no apparent reason seeing as we were dining in.

Sometimes it's so crowded that is hard to find a garbage can not brimful. Having not-soaky fries is also an eventuality. But it's on a good location and with a good view of Lambton Quay.

This McDonalds is a mixed bag. Sometimes you get your food straight away. Other times every order is late and there's a long wait. The furniture was old and falling apart. As of May 2017 they're remodelling. Hopefully it will be better in the future.

Only McDonalds open very late night. Staff are nice but in most of the time I found the sitting area bit messy and most of the sitting areas either closed off or chairs are on top of the table. I have visit them several times in span of 6 months and it didn't change.

This mcdonalds is pretty nice, the only main issue with it being the lack of frozen drinks. The design is otherwise quite nice and the menu basically the same as all other McDonald's.

Just stopped in for a quick bite while the wife was hitting the shops in lambton quay. It's in the perfect position and is just any other McDonald's.

This is the best Maccas in Wellington. The chicken McNuggets are almost always freshly done, with a nice crispy and light coating.

For mcdonalds it was fine I feel that mcdonalds really need to stop making drive through such a priority and focus on the customers that you will see face to face not the drive through like for instance sometimes the dine in customers could be waiting up to 15 minutes whilest the drive through get their orders almost aimediatly
