H.The place is not too big but clean. Love their fish fillet in spicy oil! The amount of food is enough for two and the flavor is good! It's not that spicy but has an authentic taste of chilli peppers. We also had chicken salad which has the best sauce of sweetness and a hint of mint. Will come again to try other dishes.
H.Well well, amazing the food is exquisite and tastes amazing. They give you a pot with water, for spices and non spices, then you order what you would like... After that they bring it to you raw but that’s not just it, they let you cook it yourself. With tones of food on the menu very creative ways to cook it. They have great service with some nice kind staff.
I would definitely recommend coming to this restaurant for very flavoursome food.

K.This place is hands - down outstanding. I've been eating here for 10 years. They do they nicest cheapist hot pot in Welly and the menu food is actually even better. You can banquet, you can stuff yourself with hot-pot prawns, you can karaoke, you can enjoy the lovely service and the menu items are absolutely delicious. The staff can 100% guide your choices. C.Wonderfull experience and great food. When arriving there was a muck up with our table booking and we were un booked for the night but the staff were rely helpfull at rebooking us in and getting us sorted also providing a discount for the inconvenience.

A.That spicy soup is fantastic. The page could use a makeover, but that's easily ignorable for very tasty hotpot, fresh produce, can't fault the food at all.

Meat was quite average, definitely had better in Wellington. But everything was really good to cook n was ready fast cause it's defrosted well or precooked.
A.Great food and great service. You can get a delicious hotpot buffet here for great value - perfect for windy Wellington days. There is also a great selection of authentic Chinese dishes on their regular menu. My favourite is the fish in hot chilli oil - not too spicy!
Would highly recommend as a must-try place in the capital :)

S.The hotpot here is always amazing. The staff are really friendly and always goes above and beyond. Me and my friends always love to come here for hotpot. On certain nights we are there during their karaoke sessions which are so fun. Really love this place.
J.Love red Hill. The spicy dumplings and the salt and pepper squid are super tasty! Great amount of spice and seasoning and who can go wrong with karaoke. Took a large work party of 20 people there and they were able to accommodate us well.
A.The food was excellent and good portions. My only issue was, did they really need a bouncer for such a small establishment? Arrived at 6.55pm for a 7pm booking and told to wait outside.
R.red hill = great food + friendly staff + affordable pricing! highly recommended after a fun evening with friends having hot pot with scrumptious side dishes. the staff were kind enough to cater to my special dietary needs so this would not be a problem to those with special dietary needs as well!
S.Hot pot is really good .This is a very comfortable place to eat. The buffet has many cuisines to choose from. Refreshing dinks, plenty of food, and the wait staff was very friendly and efficient. A great place for the whole family. Make sure that you make a reservation, because if you don't you will wait for hours for a table to open. Reservations must be at least 24 hours in advance. There is no pressure to finish quickly and give up your table. This restaurant has something for everyone from the vegan, the vegetarian.
R.Had such a good BYO meal with friends. Want to make a special shoutout to our waitress Jennifer, who went above and beyond with hers service and lets us set up karaoke on a Tuesday night. Great meal and great vibes all around. Will be back!
M.RR is a small restaurant on the first floor with a large staircase dominating the centre of the room. It has an average interior quality with windows overlooking Te Horo's "Pigeon Park". The hot-pot dishes seem to be their signature meal and is popular any time of the day especially with larger groups.
RR's signature Noodle Soup dish is where you have the option of home-made or other noodles, and the choice of meats, plus the level of spiciness. You can also add on ingredients eg. tofu, mushroom, etc. for a small fee. The home-made noodles were good, and had the al dente factor similar to what one would expect from other good quality, fresh noodles. RR also offered other traditional, Chinese courses accompanied by small rice portions. Overall the service was fast and courteous. To their credit RR claims it does not use msg in its cooking.
A.We asked the asian guy waiter for more food many many times and it still didn’t come up which made us unsatisfied. Anyway the hot pot was not bad. The KIWI waitress was super NICE about everything especially her good service!

H.If you love Hot Pot, that‘s the place in Wellington! Take the 50 / 50 Hot Pot. Nice and spicy and nice and yummy. Select your own food and even get more in case you need to. Veggies are nice and fresh and the meat is cut thinly. The shrimp could be a bit bigger but thats just some thoughts. Take the Chilli Oil as dip with garlic and fresh coriander. Yum!!!

Enjoyed the karaoke! Different but fun concept ... place is cramped, so you stay at your tables and the microphone gets shared around the cosy and rowdy restaurant.
E.Always great hot pot, but the tight table space let's it down, especially when having hot pot with all the food and sauces taking up space.
