n.What a hidden (but not secret to the locals!) gem this place is. The food here is absolutely gorgeous.
We always get the roast pork cause quite frankly it's the best I've ever had.
.. how DO they get that crackling so crunchy and delicious EVERY SINGLE TIME???!!!
A must stop at place, for fast, convenient, great food and loads of it too... plus very friendly family led staff

j.Nice roast, came in small, medium, large with no real way of knowing what the size meant. If you got it wrong a want a takeaway container they charge more
N.I had a small lamb roast and my fiance had a large pork roast. Both meals were super tasty.
Only reason it wasn't a 5 star meal was they were out of kumara due to a supply issue.
Would definitely return!
M.Lovely couple who own it, always polite and smile. The meals are fabulous, huge, fresh, meats are never dry, vegetables cooked perfectly. Well worth the money, with the amount of food you get you would expect to pay a lot more.
One large meal does 2 people.
M.So cheap and yummy too. I live in Hamilton and travelled to Pouto, Dargaville, this place was the perfect food stop, and we even stopped in on our ways back to hamilton. Ty for your amazing good and customer service too
B.The medium sized roast pork that I had here today was as good as any good roast dinner I have ever had before in my life. I have eaten mini roast dinners. The crackling was absolutely spot on and the portions were ample. Good value for money.

C.Best roast shop ive been too. Generous helpings. Top tip- you can buy their gravy to take away. Its good stuff. If Labour found out about it they would slap an envy tax on it becuase they cant get it in Wellington.

A.Food is good and consistent. Serving time can vary a bit which makes lunch meals harder to schedule. The restaurant is still a workplace favorite though.
A.Staff are always so nice, we visited at 835pm, they close at 830pm, but were staying open as they cleaned, so served us. Also, super clean premises.
