E.I really wanted to give this roast shop another opportunity, as I haven't been for a year or two since last disappointed. I drive past regularly & it would be good to grab a takeaway often, if it lived up to my expectations. I ordered small meals and the meat portion was definitely small. Pork crackling pieces very tiny. I object to being charged $1 for gravy on the side. I don't want my roast spud soggy when I get it home. The little container on the side doesn't cost anywhere near that to provide it separately.
No bag to put my order in. Good job I had something in my car or it'd be difficult to transport without potential spillage.
The "how has your day been" sounded very forced & not genuine. Just don't bother asking.
I will drive out of my way to go to another roast shop. It's not that that food tasted bad, it's just what your getting for your money, including the service.
M.Wow. Thank you so much for catering our little boy’s 1st birthday! The food was amazing and the portions are generous. Unfortunately we did have a few people pull out due to COVID but that only meant more food for those who came. The roast potatoes were a hit! Thanks Alex and team.
G.We have been going to Maunu Roast Shop now for the past three years. Why do we keep going back....they have the best food and best customer service....we base this on other such shops we have been at, both in Whangarei and else where including Auckland. We always leave Maunu Roast Shop with a smile on our face and again when we have completed our meal from there 👍👍🤗

S.I had roast pork with vegies and it was yummy. The roast veges WEREN'T dry like other roast places and the pork was awesome. Really good staff too. Regarding the desserts which has nothing to do with the roast shop and where you place your order: I think $10 is too expensive or at least fill the glass jar to the top!

m.The Best Chicken Burger combo tasted in Whangarei. Me & my husband were very hungry this particular day & we didn't want Mac Donald or Burger king, so we drove a lil further & we saw a new shop on Maunu road called: " Maunu Raost ".... Yummii :-)

Q.Delicious. Fairly fast service. Clean. It's so much easier to buy a roast, prepared...than to cook one and have all the fatty dishes afterwards etc. I buy a large roast and it does two of us. Highly recommended.

E.Best roast shop in whangarei, I have no idea how they do their potatoes but they are so fluffy and light on the inside and so crunchy and delicious on the outside, absolutely delicious 💯💯
