Nice place for grab some lunch. Fast service and fresh veggies with affordable price in town.. A bit busy during lunch hours but you don't need to wait too long.. Recommend for someone who is in rush..

I went here with my girlfriend around two weeks ago, and the person who served us was incredibly friendly and funny. He even informed us of a combo where we could get the meal cheaper, with the addition of a drink. The kebabs we ordered were made insanely quick, the meal arriving to the table before we did! And the quality was not sacrificed. Overall a great meal, with great service, and an awesome environment. I'd be happy to go again.

Up from Auckland visiting family. Spotted Turkuaz Cafe and promised myself a coffee for the return trip home. Stepped into the cafe and instantly knew this place was authentic. I ordered my Türk kahvesi and waited just long enough to know it was being freshly brewed. I also bought a tin of authentic coffee to take home. The other pleasant surprise was getting a tin of apple tea. My family was really happy when I got home about three hours later. I brew coffee daily but the tea will be for high days and holidays. I will return one day for the food!

Been going to this restaurant for last few years but got a shock in the price hike tonight! For a small mixed meat iskinder and small drink used to be $14 but tonight it was $22!!! Did query it but was told they had price raise! You're not kidding!!!! Wont be visiting quite as often anymore unfortunately 😕

This restaurant turned out to be a blessing in Whangarei. It’s almost my everyday eating place for most of my work visits to the area. The food is fresh and very light in heart. Grills are awesome. And add some nice desserts to double the fun.

Delicious! Great pita pockets and the mezze platter for 2 was amazing. We drove from rosedale to whangarei ... "No Ragerts" especially the tiramisu. My partner said we can drive back (2 hours) just for it!

We dined in with a group of 7 at 7pm on a Friday evening. The restaurant was bustling. We found our own way to the table as staff were busy at the till. We were quickly bought menus but there was a delay before our orders were taken. The waitress was friendly and efficient. The food arrived quite quickly. Servings were generous, and fairly well presented. While it tasted good, there was nothing exceptional about it. Turkuaz Cafe is good for a quick meal or snack on the way to a movie.

We eat here frequently because the food is good - the lamb is real lamb unlike other places where their lamb is more like a sausage texture - very flavorful food. We have noticed however that their serving sizes have shrunk... They used to be very generous especially with the salads - not so much now. KID FRIENDLY!! I feel like that has to be said first, and foremost. We came here with two other Families after the circus and I was amazed at how great it was!! I had NO IDEA that they were kid friends with great food at an incredible value! Perfect for a bigger group, they take reservations and are incredibly helpful with kids. They provide toys, colouring books, and generously sized kids meals. Our mixed plate was tasty, had lots of variety, and filling. We didn't have room for desserts because the portions were surprisingly generous. Added perk, they have what seemed like a nearly full bar and a wide selection of beer and wine. Parental WIN! We will most definitely be back.

Last night was our first visit to Turkuaz Cafe. I was really impressed food was outstanding had mixed meat kebab and fries and really enjoyed and the berry smoothie was great. Restaurant was really busy but food came quickly and service was great. Will be going again to try other menu items and even better they are a takeaway as well. Well worth a visit.

Really great Turkish flavours at a very affordable price. I had a mixed meat wrap with fresh coleslaw in sweet chilli and humus, the small one was big enough for a healthy appetite and cost less than $12NZ.

This was the second time we have tried this cafe. The first time was awesome however this time they got orders wrong, items we had ordered weren't given until we asked for them. Drinks we had ordered didnt arrive & when we asked for them we were told they had sold out. The desserts we ordered at the beginningn of the night had to be changed at dessert time because they had sold out. Poor service - and a birthday dinner ruined 😢☹😢☹

What do you know, after all these years, here it is on our very doorstep, AND, it looks like they are branching out to Kamo. Won't even need to go into town. Wee Hee.

I was given the wrong dessert. When i let them know, they gave me the correct dessert and asked if i wanted the wrong one as well since it was already served..... i didnt have to pay for the additional dessert however i was so impressed with everything that i offered to pay for it anyway :) one side note that didnt affect the overall rating was there was enough room for my wife in her wheelchair but it was a tight fit to sit on the other side of the table from her. And she mentioned the tables were too tall for her.
