C.On holiday and looked at reviews, not wrong would be the best fish and chips I have ever had. Snapper so fresh and great size. Beautiful batter and chips great. Ordered 3 fish got 4 and 3 mussels and got 4.
Nice clean shop and could see some of the cooking.
Happy staff. Perfect had on the beach less than 100 meters away. Felt like going back and getting more but too full. Good price. Thank you!!

M.My wife and I had the fresh Snapper and chips...the three pieces of fish were a good size and beautifully cooked...generous serving of chips also...would highly recommend Buffalo Beach Takeaways if you want extra fresh fish.

S.The fish was fresh, not chewy or crumbly, and the batter was light and tasty. The size and quality of the fish made it one of our favorite shops. The chips were crispy and well done. There was enough to make for a filling meal without being overwhelming.

We had a very good dinner here - we ordered grilled dory, battered tarakihi, salad and chips. The fish was cooked perfectly and tasted very fresh. It was a good cheap meal for two.

I.Went here for Fish’n’Chips (and extras like hot dog, crab stick, miscellaneous fritters) as it was the highest rated place in Whitianga – but we were somewhat disappointed. Everything was pretty average.

The only Takeaways in Whitianga who continued serving after the Summer Concert on Sunday 26th January 2020.
They kept smiling and providing friendly service throughout dealing with peoples drunken behaviour, short staffed, working late, running out of supplies and the never ending queue.

D.Awesome service and yummy fish and chips locally owned and operated their is a 4 square dairy right next door for bread and tomatoes sauce if needed and both are kiwi owned which is very rare especially for a 4 square as most are Indian owned...not being prejudice but seeing am actual kiwi running a dairy is very very very rare nowdays
