D.Excellent food, wine (and craft beer) and service. Actually wondering whether it’s worth eating elsewhere in the Coromandel.
The gnocchi was pillowy soft, tuna and beef poke well marinated and perfectly seasoned, and perfectly cooked ostrich.
Service was attentive and swift, with helpful context about the ingredients and dishes.
The wine list is expansive and incredibly well priced. The craft beer list equally so!
R.This was our wedding reception venue and i couldnt fault the atmosphere and staff! They were very accommodating and the garden bar with outdoor games was very entertaining for the kids. The food was very tasty and generous. We had a very good night! Thank you

This was not a busy night nor was our table not ready so i failed to see the relevance of his comment. Very meh experience .. ur name suggests u knw what kaizen means , so seize this moment to rise above mediocrity , please !
A.We didn’t know what to expect from this little restaurant in Cooks beach but oh my were we delighted! Blown away by the prawn dumplings and the monkfish. So many delicious desserts to choose from but the Hokey was a taste sensation! Excellent wine list. Lovely outdoor setting and attentive staff. Thank you!
R.The food was delicious and the owners were amazing. Only reason I ranked it at 4 instead of 5 was the portion size. It is supposed to be a restaurant where everyone shares the food ordered. I went by myself ordered 2 dishes; one on the light end and one towards the heavy side. Yet I left still a little hungry. The taste and options were awesome, and they let me eat without a reservation! Maybe next time I should order a pizza to go. (Pictured: goat cheese brulee, and Brazilian Lamb)
J.Had a really nice evening here. They were very busy as it was a long weekend but they were welcoming and did their best to accommodate us - friendly staff and good service. We had a cocktail to start with - Espresso Martini for my partner and a Margarita for myself. Very nice. We then ordered 4 interesting tapa style plates in a fusion style - gnocchi, tuna, salmon and prawns, all beautifully presented and fresh. We couldn’t eat them all but we wanted to!

R.Oh My Gosh!! What a hidden gem. Walked past 4 times thinking ...nah. But tonight we took a chance and are so pleased we did. The food is the best we've had on the Coromandel. The service was awesome and the wine selection 😲, plus the rest of the drinks list. Do not overlook this place. Seriously.
H.Wow! What amazing food. Our group of 7 thoroughly enjoyed the tasting menu and specially concocted cocktails. Couldn't decide which dish was the best - they were all taste sensations. Can't recommend highly enough - check it out!
M.Incredible fine dining experience. Had the sharing, tasting menu and both my wife and I found the quality and presentation phenomenal! Considering the quality, you are getting good value not to mention their wine list, consisting mainly of bottles under 50$. Will definitely return!

S.loved our experience here - the food was impeccable and remarkably high-end considering the ambience wasn't pretentious or coupled with a hefty price-tag. Easily one of the most affordable high end restaurants in New Zealand - even the wine was reasonably priced. Make sure to order a dessert! Service was down-to-earth and friendly. Would definitely go out of our way to come back here.

N.We were so impressed that Go Vino stayed open for us after we arrived at our B&B at 8pm to make us pizza for dinner. When we returned for dinner (KaiZen style), their pork terrine and Brazilian lamb were superb. We also enjoyed scrumptious desserts there as well. We will definitely be back!!

R.The place was really easy to find. Four of us ordered six dishes to share. The sharing idea is very good but unfortunatly the taste is very very average. The taste of the prawns was aweful... We expected freash prawns but they were way too fishy. The pork in the hungi was salty. It might just be a huge store broight ham cut up and served with baked veges. Fries were good and huge, but mushrooms were below average. Staff were very friendly. Drinks were good. Family enjoyed it that was the most important thing.
K.So far we have done a wine tasting, had dinner and had takeaway pizzas. Ryan and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable people and the atmosphere here when dining is great. Fantastic food. Takeaway pizzas are to die for and helped us out recently when we had a number of family staying and also down for the day. Like ET "We're back" soon.
F.My sister, who lives a posh life in London, came to stay. Took her to Go Vino because I really rate this place, and I wanted to show NZ to best advantage. Go Vino just gets better and better. She had 'the best venison' she had ever tasted, and brilliant scallops too. I love it that vegetarians can also have smart delicious dishes here, we aren't just an afterthought. Also I love it that I can sit in a restaurant packed to capacity with people having fun and still hear every word at my table.

It is a restaurant where you share the served plates. We were 2 and shared 5 dishes, which was enough. 6 Could have been, but we did not think that was necessary.
Operation good, the owner has advised us appropriately. Since I am pregnant, half of all dishes were adjusted and they were able to tell everything that was 'safe' or 'not safe'.

Het is een restaurant waar je de geserveerde borden deelt. We waren met 2 en hebben 5 gerechtjes gedeeld, dat was voldoende. 6 Had ook wel gekunt maar dat vonden we niet nodig.
Bediening goed, de eigenaar heeft ons passend geadviseerd. Aangezien ik zwanger ben werden alle gerechten voor de helft aangepast en wisten ze van alles te vertellen wat 'veilig' of 'niet veilig' was.
