T.Perfect resort style accomodation. Great rooms, comfortable beds and well appointed rooms.the whole complex is being upgraded. The pool area is fabulous great value for money. Kayak to use free of charge. Really awesome place to stay. And best of all direct access to estuary for a morning swim. Drinks on the deck overlooking the ocean. Will come stay again.
L.I had a great stay at Shearwater. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The owner Lynette is so accommodating and very friendly. There are also Kayaks available to use if you enjoy water sports. Would definitely recommend a stay at Shearwater.
Also, the famous Lost Spring and town center are just around the corner so the location is ideal.
G.Had an amazing stay at this motel, my kids and I stayed in a 2 bedroom unit, there was plenty of space for all 5 of us! Nice kitchen and bathroom, shower pressure was amazing. Kids enjoyed the pool and kayaks and playing on the sand when the tide was out, walking distance to town was great and the managers were very helpful with knowing what times places were open. Loved the luxury modern feel as well as the family friendly vibe.

S.Lovely little motel tucked away in the back of Whitianga. The bed and pillows was comfortable, the shower had fantastic pressure and the kitchen was well appointed. The best thing though were the staff who went above and beyond by drying and folding our washing after we washed it! Highly recommended!!
F.We stayed in a two bedroom motel, clean and it has all the basic things I need in the kitchen, clean towels everyday, it has a swimming pool and towels are provided, it has laundry, only one that lag is the wifi, slow and sometimes it will disconnect.. Overall, great location and few minutes walk to town..
A.Rae makes the Motel a friendly and relaxing atmosphere, we fell in love with this place and sad to see Rae go. We wish her all the happiness on her new journey and hopefully we will find another Motel that will exceed our expectations like Shearwater. Thank you Rae!
M.Friendly staff, great location, nice pool. The best part is the free kayaks available to use on the estuary (water body) at the back of the property. Free laundry facilities were good too.
D.Very clean and comfortable place to stay right on the waterfront. Beautiful pool and bbq area. Kayaks, life jackets and water equipment all included which is great for the kids. Great location, walking distance to town shops and cafes. Staff were very helpful and friendly. If your planning a visit to hot water beach they also have shovels for guest to use for free. Great Value for money.

P.Conveniently located, within 500m of the first shops. Rooms were clean, laundry is available, and everything is here to do light cooking. Swimming pool overlooks the estuary and is solar heated. The owner is a lovely lady too who recommended a nice restaurant.
