My Father had been missing for 16yrs. He had been sent here to the Radius Rimu Rest home by a local hospital with a diagnosis that he had 28 days to live. Because of the wonderful and Loving care they gave him he lived another 2 yrs. He had been especially fond of the chef! When my Father passed away it was one of the staff and a dear friend of my Dad's that cared enough to try and look for his Family. They found my Brother on 'Facebook' and contacted him about Dad's death. My Brother and I are forever grateful to all the staff including the Head Chef who I understand my Dad was very fond of, and the Head Matron for the time, care and help they all went through to look after my Father. From the hugs I recieved when we arrived to see where Dad had been living these last few yrs, I was overwhelmed by the love they held for my Dad. To have finally been able to find him even at such a time, it was a blessing to know he was cared for so well and not alone in his last yrs.

My parents visited from Tauranga recently where they owned a rest home for 15yrs. They both commented on how smart and fresh the place was looking, How wonderful the “Daffodil Day” celebrations were organized, how friendly the staff were and how the place had “ a lovely, happy, homely feel”. They had visited in Feb 2018 and could not believe the “spruced up” feel the place had. Kirsty Robertson CNM

I would like to thank all of the staff at Rimu Park. The care that they gave my father in law was above and beyond. I can not speak highly enough of them. I will certainly be telling all of my friends who are looking for care for their loved one to go and see them.
