As a visitor, Massey High were extremely hospitable. There is a student-led Cafe at the front building with nice cleanliness and competitive prices. The culture is also heavily represented as the first activity we part took in was the powhiri and exchange of waiata. There are 2 main fields, one lower in height and one at ground level. Both fields neighbor each other as well as the large gymnasium with elevated row-seats.

This school was great, but Mr Murdoch was greater. He made my life enjoyable and helped me out so much. He was not only a great teacher, but also a great friend. Any problems I had he would help me with, and without him I would never have been able pass NCEA. Mr Murdoch was truly an inspiration to me and I am going to miss him. I love Mr Murdoch

Would of given 5 stars if Moneybags was my teacher for every subject, every year.
This mans impeccable general knowledge would of allowed him to but he humbled himself to Geo like the true man he is which is why he is such an inspiration<3
To say that my year 13 experience would not of been the same if it weren't for moneybags Murdoch is an understatement!! I cannot thank him enough on how he sacrificed his personal life to teach many around the world.
I will always eat ramen noodles because of his health advice x
Thank you for the best year of my life moneybags, will never forget you!

The school has some great ways to support its students, but nothing compares to Mr Murdoch. The lessons he teaches are interesting from start to finish, and he always loves to lend a hand no matter what the issue is. i feel i could ask him about anything at all, and he would give his full attention and support. the only downside with him is that he isn't the principal, because he fully deserves to be!

The school is brilliant, world class, phenomenal. But only for one reason, Mr Murdoch. He was what kept me going through my schooling career. The way he inspired the class and pushed us to study the ways of Geography and why people travel to Rotorua. It was incredibly intriguing. Sir, if by the off chance you read this, just know you will forever be remembered by your students and all who love you. You're a sole dox, Mr Murdochs.

Pretty good school, Mr Murdoch is my fav teacher makes each day a pleasure! Without homeboy J.MDoch school wouldn't be nearly as good, he should get a promotion or something. I would love to see him as a dean or even principle would be lit.

This school is only great because Mr Murdoch is a teacher here. He is such a great role model and makes my 4th period on a Monday just fantastic! Stay slick Mr Murdoch!

Dear Mr. Murdoch. I just want to thank you for taking me in as I didn't want to go to my own tutor class. I am so thankful that you have treated like your own since the day I stepped foot in your class. Thanks my co.

The high school isn't actually very good, apart from the fact that they have one of the best teachers in the world..... That's right i'm talking about Mr 'moneybags' Murdoch!!! If I could give him babies i would do it in a heartbeat. Good ol' Murdochachino has changed my life! Can't wait until he gets the promotion into prime minister!!!!

great school. unfortunately, uniform used today is a horrible thing. too hot in summer, no raincoat for storms. also, one of the school "policies" is 0 tolerance for bullying yet in one of my year 12 classes, i am being bullied non-stop and the teacher does NOTHING about it. other than that, great support at school, especially for children with disorders such as ADHD or dyslexia

Well, it all started on the 23rd of May 2000. At 10:59PM, the future "Greatest Arts Leader of All Time" had entered the world of the living. For 13 hard, long years, he constantly worked on bettering himself as a person, friend, son, brother, lover and musician. His life climaxed when he walked through the gates of what would eventually be known as his "old stomping grounds". Throughout the first year of his education at MHS, he made 0 new friends. Instead of making friends, he had tirelessly been working on building a reputation as being an amazing musician, as well as the most overweight, introverted person to ever grace the hallways of C Block. In his second year however, things changed for the better. He joined a rugby team, the 5th Grade Cavaliers, who eventually took out the 2014 5B Grade Championship. That year was also the same year he met the greatest teacher to ever work at the established institute of education - Jamie Murdoch. He was my first ever basketball coach. He introduced to the world of high-intensity sports. He pushed to my limits and made me who I am today - great, amazing, spectacular, wow, great (again). Thanks to my old mate Jamie, I don't think I would have the self-confidence to be able to apply for Gold Badge Prefect and showcase the Boonga Boys to the entire school. I know this review has gone on for a while now, but please stay seated - we are nearing the end of this emotional and inspirational rollercoaster. I would like to give thanks to my biggest supporter - Jamie Murdoch - for making me believe that anything is possible. This 3 year Jazz Performance Degree at the University of Auckland is dedicated to you my friend <3

This school is very good at preparing us for the future, giving us achievements to strive towards, has plenty of clubs, lots of academies and everything else you would need from a high school.
