A fantastic Montessori preschool which our child thoroughly enjoyed and is sad to leave. Teachers are very supportive but also maintain a good classroom environment and avoid the chaos of many franchise kindy spots. Ratios are lower than most and based on a quiet street with a new playground coming in. Also have a good reading and writing program getting children ready for school and encourage parents' involvement.

We've been really happy at Smart Start, both with the kindness and caring of the teachers, and the academic preparation that M has had. My older children went to a basic "kindy," where they all tore around in a pack. I can see the contrast with M-- his ability to concentrate, recognise and write letters, basic counting skills--everything is more advanced and school-ready.

Before I enrolled my daughter to a preschool, I went and visited some schools.. and Smart Start Montessori is the BEST of them all! I remember the first day me and my daughter came to visit this school, Rebecca gave us a tour and my daughter just instantly engaged with the activities, with the children and with the teachers. This was the sign I was looking for. Knowing myself, I only want the best for my daughter and I was confident that she is in safe hands here and will develop her personality well. She has become a confident, independent, well-mannered little girl. Thank you all to the teachers who went extra mile helping and loving my daughter. The place is also well organized and clean. The materials are of the best quality, naturally-made. If only we're not relocating, my daughter will still stay here. She is so happy and always looking forward to go to school. I couldn't thank you enough for all the things you have done to her. All the best to you! =)

Have no words to express how wonderful Smart Start is. It is a 10 starts preschool. The philosophy ,teachers, kids and culture of the Montessori are very high in quality. I highly recommend Smart Start to any child.

We have 2 boys whos been here and we absolutely love it. The environment is just perfect for our boys to prepare themselves for primary schools. When they started school, they had no issue at all. The teachers and staff are all very lovely. I cant wait to bring my 3rd son back!

Wonderful place for our daughter to thrive. We were pleasantly surprised how quickly she adapted to the Montessori environment. Its definitely due to the amazing teachers and the engaging learning environment they create. Thanks Rebecca and team.. The new location is top notch as well. :)

Smart Start Montessori is just awesome. My son suffers from severe food allergies and the staff were wonderful in caring for all his needs. Rebecca even ensured that the class room was nut free. I would highly recommend this place.

I often walk down Grange Rd and get the impression that this is somewhere I would be happy to send our 4 year-old if we lived in the area. My wife is a teacher and highly impressed by what she has read about the Montessori teaching methods.
