J.Such an amazing family/team atmosphere, all instructors are highly qualified, supportive, friendly and at the top of their own games. I would highly recommend this club if you are wanting to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, learn to defend yourself or be part of a supportive team building club.
J.I’ve been training at Sorriso BJJ (Mt Eden) for almost a calendar year now (though 2020 messed much of this up) and have really enjoyed the classes and the family vibe there.
From the very first lesson Coach Paulo has been welcoming and supportive of my first venture into BJJ, and I feel extremely fortunate to be one of his students.
He has fostered a family environment there that all have adopted, and the warmth and welcome, and sense of belonging, that you get there, is just as valuable as the learning of BJJ itself.
It’s a long journey toward my goal, but I know that Paulo, and the greater Sorriso BJJ family, will have my back. ;)
B.Sorriso BJJ has great coaching and a fun team environment. The team has more than enough high quality training partners. Paulo is highly skilled and a great coach with a vast knowledge of the art. His results speak for themselves.

The level of coaching here is outstanding, with the likes of Paulo and Jou you gain a wealth of theoretical and practical knowledge that you can add to your game.

S.Great gym. Awesome people and the lessons are very well delivered. I have done wing Chun, karate and MMA, yet the people and trainers at this gym are amazing. This is the gym to go to if you are thinking of trying or mastering BJJ.
G.A solid, family-orientated club with a good mix of male and female adults and kids. The club has 5 black belts, including 3rd degree head coach Paulo. I have trained here for a couple of years and have learnt a lot and thoroughly enjoyed it.
A.A couch that's tough but cares. What makes Sorriso BJJs club the best is the flexible timetable of classes and the passion Sorriso has for his class and students. I wouldn't recommend any other club. OSS!

Heads up for the ladies: if you're maybe shy or just dont want to roll with the guys the first few classes as you get used to things, dont fret because they also have a Womens (only) Class as well! Highly recommended.
