It was an absolute pleasure working with Annika. It's hard to imagine a better trainer than her out there. Teaching is very much her vocation and she's an expert on the subject. Every lesson is packed with helpful tools and insights. To top it all off, you'll have a great time. Her lessons are fun and funny; and the time just flies by.

ANNIKA- the best in the business!!!! Never had a dull moment throughout the course sessions and practise. With her personalised lesson’s structure (different for every individual) the journey was certainly fun, and I would notice a good difference after every session I attended. She was practical with the potential results, and was clear of what I shall expect at the end of the course. Annika is a great coach, friend and listener. I attended 10 sessions and they have been invaluable. The syllabus was customized to my need of not only improving on my pronunciation and communication, but also the intend to practice critical thinking and structuring ideas. My top three learnings from the course were - 1. Gaining a range of self-learning methods to continue learning English language outside the lessons. 2 Understanding more about myself in communication and ways to improve it. 3. Speaking phrases that help my speaking sound more natural. In addition to those, the sessions were very enjoyable! I highly recommend The Accent Studio.

I've been studying with Annika since March and enjoying every class. Annika is a great teacher who is not only worried about helping us reduce our accent, but also encouraging us to feel more confident and proud of our distinct background. Her methodology is different of everything that I tried before, she is patient to explain why clarity when speaking English is so challenging for some people. Understanding about the rhythm of English and how my Portuguese brain perceives the words and sentences were essential to help me speak English clearer. She is a lovely person and an excellent professional always studying what is new in her field and trying her best to customise the course for our needs. After 10 sessions, I can firmly say that I learnt quite a lot with her, have a new perception on English language & pronunciation and most of all I have become more confident now. I feel so lucky to choose Accent Studio as my accent training. Annika is amazing teacher. I have not had English courses in NZ, I have learned English in China. When I first came to NZ, I found that I was hardly to be understood when I was talking to the native speakers, and it's not because my English level is low, I thought it's about the pronunciation. Then I searched on Google, I compared at least three different accent schools, and I choosed the Annika's courses. Facts proved that I made a really right decision. Annika is professional, knowledgeable and patient teacher. For now, I have had 5 intensive courses with Annika, many problems I met in speaking have been solved indeed, but I need to practice more. If you wanna improve your accent and become clear speaker, please don't hesitate to choose Accent Studio.

Annika is one of the amazing teachers that I met in my whole life. She never lets you down, and never makes you embarrassed and keep you energized. It's easy to feel relaxed in the learning experience, which is essential for anyone whom are second-language in English to build up confidence. What's more important, it's a customized course. For me, I am aiming to be a language teacher in the future so she designed the material that is easily adapted in the near future. Small hint: be sure to finish the homework and get every singe course recorded. Listen back to the recording then your efficiency will be jumped up more than you expected. I love her!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a South African, Afrikaans is my first language, I really struggled with my accent. Being a trainer I was mocked and laughed at as my accent was very strong. After 10 in depth sessions with Annika I am definitely more confident to stand in front of my trainees and even speaking in public. Annika is patient, caring and engage a lot. I will highly recommend her for any person struggling with their pronounciations and accents, if you work hard and practise your homework that Annika give to you, you will definitely see a massive improvement.
