I love this school. Hghs helped me as a young women to grow not only academically but personally. I have made some life long friends here that will forever change me. The only thing about this school that I didn't like was the strict uniform rules

I have attended HGHS since I was a Year 9 till I was in Year 13. The teachers at this school were very lovely and caring towards their students and they have done their best to make me feel welcome. I will miss this school a lot, because it felt like a home since I've spent my teenage-hood here. But I won't miss all the stress from exams and assessments I had to do. The best advice I want to give to anyone reading this is... - find a good supportive group of friends - find a good supportive teacher who you can talk to openly about things you are stressing with at school or maybe find a good school counselor - study early, don't do things last minute - always work hard to pass! It doesn't matter if you don't get merit or excellence, achieve is just fine. - participate in school events, they are fun to do and who knows you could make new friends. - be respectful and don't involve yourself in pointless drama. It's best to mind your own business Yupp, I'd say that's all I have. Best of luck to new highschool students, everything goes by fast so enjoy the moment right now. 💖🥀
