James Hargest College is a great place to be (as a student of the school, I know what it's like). There are plenty of options to do around the school. We have a fully fledged canteen, three gyms, a variety of subjects on offer, a massive library, guidance and counselling, a careers department, and a good WiFi network. There are restrictions on the WiFi, but they're there for the student's safety. Combine that with the fact we have ~1850 students, it makes James Hargest College on of the best high schools in Invercargill, if not Southland.

Excellent facilities and staff who are willing to go the extra mile. Language department particularly good for those wanting to learn another language.
