y.I done sign qnd rhyme with my youngest then 5month old. I loved the classes then we went into lockdown and was on zoom which Kirsty was still great and my 2yr old joined in. I have to say my two year old picked it up great and still now signs things to us, while my now 9month old only started signing Milk.
Found it very useful for our older son when he couldn't get the word out he could sign it to us instead of getting frustrated that we didn't understand him.
I would highly recommend these classes to anyone interested in Learning baby sign.
C.Cannot recommend highly enough. Absolutely loved our sign and rhyme class. Kirsty is just so lovely and even with a lockdown made everything so easy and enjoyable. The songs and rhymes are so easy to remember and
I find myself not only remembering the signs but using them day to day and singing the same songs and rhymes to my little one.
I will certainly be back for more classes and have been recommending them to all my friends with little ones.
N.After just 1 term of Sign & Rhyme, my 18 month old recognises over 30 additional signs & actively uses a large number of them. We had already been using a few basic signs but my son can now communicate his wants/ interests on a whole new level. Kirsty makes learning effortless with her fun & engaging songs & books & rhymes. My boy has a blast each week. Highly recommend!
T.We have loved attending Sign and Rhyme! Kirsty is amazing and so engaging and enthusiastic with the kids. The sessions are so well run and interactive and I feel so confident with my new signs and how to teach them by the end of each session. I would definitely recommend giving it a go!
S.I met Kirsty at Baby Expo on North Shore, and although my group was in East Auckland, we worked out a great deal to get her to join us at Space and learn about Sign & Rhyme together. Very fun and she reads the mood of room and adapts quickly! Have learnt many simple signs and songs to teach my baby and have the resources to grow our sign language over time. Highly recommend Kirsty! Absolutely lovely lady and fabulous way to learn to communicate with your babies.
J.Kirsty recently ran an 'overview' session with one of our community groups via Zoom. The whole experience was fantastic. Beforehand Kirsty ensured our Zoom settings were correct to best present her content to the group and offered to run a trial meeting to make sure it all ran smoothly. Communication was quick and professional.
The session ran at a great pace and was interactive even though participants were on mute. An amazing effort! We have had great feedback from the group and lots of comments that Kirsty has sparked interest in signing with their little ones. I'd highly recommend this session. Kirsty is friendly and approachable and I hope we can connect with her again for another session in the future.
T.The best baby class in town! I drive more than 20 minutes to get to it from the other side of Auckland. My 2 older kids had done baby signing in the UK and I was keen to ensure my youngest didn’t miss out. Kirsty’s course means she hasn’t.
N.Absolutely love our Sign and Rhyme classes. Our Little One does too! Really easy to follow and something we have incorporated into our day everyday. Thanks so much Kirsty! Changing Time is never going to be the same again :)
S.Highly recommend Sign & Rhyme as a way to learn to sign with your baby or toddler. The classes are fun and interactive, and Kirsty is a delightful teacher. I am so pleased we have done this course - signing to my son certainly makes our life easier!
R.We loved the classes, they were the perfect length, and super fun and engaging. Kirsty is so lovely and all the babies just loved her (and all wanted to sit on her lap). Our 10 month old can now tell us when she is "finished" with meal time and she is always so happy that we understand her. Definitely recommend the classes!
