J.Went in looking for a white pair of shoes the manager was more then helpful not only with finding me some shoes but having a small chat etc makes you feel very welcome. The main reason I ended up making a purchase and not browsing any other stores would be the customer service alone. Recommend shopping experience

Absolutely superb retail experience, I went to the Queensgate store and was served by a boy named Deeno who was truly delightful. Assistant manager Andee I believe was also super warm and comforting while I chose my shoes! 10/10 I can’t wait to hit the clubs with my new sneaks

L.Some of the most helpful and patient staff. Had some issues with an online app on my phone. Three different people helped me until the problem was solved and I finally had all of my shopping for Christmas. Great range of shoes and sizes. Were offering to have another of their stores source certain shoes as well. This was also on Christmas eve. They were calm, patient, swift and dependable. Awesome and grateful shopping experience!
J.I find myself always coming straight to Platypus Queensgate whenever I'm looking for a pair of kicks, for one simple reason. Customer service. The crew at Platypus consistently delivers an attentive and engaging experience any time I'm in store, my friends and family feel the same too. Even when they don't have exactly what I'm looking for, their salesmanship truly shines through as they begin finding alternatives to what I'm seeking. Some stand out figures within Platypus that have helped me in ways beyond what any regular salesman would are Andy, Chip, Dino, Rachel and recently Brie.
Although I was not served by Brie myself, I did witness her exude an excellent experience to another young man in store at the time. From what I had gathered he was after quite a few pairs of shoes for Christmas and Brie was working hard to find sizes and offer alternatives if they were out of stock. In the end he'd walked away with over 7 pairs of shoes and seemed quite stoked yet familiar with this above and beyond type of customer service.
The crew at Platypus Queensgate is one to behold, although there's always new faces popping up every month or so, it is obvious that whoever the manager is, they're consistently ensuring the staff are trained to their best of their abilities.
I'd recommend these people any day over any other shoe store. Great store and a greater crew!

The store spent an enormous amount of time and effort to listen to my 9 year old and replacing the shoes with the most suitable fit and comfort level.

I ordered online kids shoes, they sent me discolored pair. ( It was very noticeable) Obviously 1 shoe had been sitting on the shop floor...She took the time to look for another pair online I could possibly like instead as there were no other pairs of shoes I wanted in the same color or size..... She's great at her Job! Great customer service and goes that extra mile faster to make your day so much easier... Younger chick with the blondish dreads and bull noise pierced 🤩

C.I've purchased shoes and boots from this store for myself, my wife and my child on multiple occasions... range is pretty decent and it's one of the few stores in the mall where the staff are professional, helpful and friendly ...!!! Happily recommend!

ETA: I did indeed shop here again! Different sales staff; equally charming. Made every effort to find something that fit both the look I wanted and my actual feet 😄 Couldn't recommend this store, and its staff, more.
You may find what you want elsewhere (although their range of kicks is probably second to none!) but you won't find better service!
