J.The gentleman behind the counter didn't have what I was looking for but did know the shoe shop around the corner who would. He called the shop on his landline, had a cordial conversation with the shop keeper, checked it was in stock and then checked their opening hours. He could not provide what I was after but he did all of the work to ensure I got what I needed at no benefit to himself. A fantastic customer interaction!
I will be going to this store for all of my future needs because I know he will do right by me. Thank you very much.
M.I was searching a particular brand of slippers for my husband. Rang the store and was attended to by a very pleasant man Ewen? He knew exactly what I wanted. I bought them over the phone and they are being couriered to me as I write. Will definitely be visiting him when in Wellington next.
B.Only Specialist Mens Footwear Retailer in New Zealand selling Quality Mens Shoes, Boots, Sandals and Slippers plus Quality Leather Care Products. Upper end price wise but you get what you pay for. Owner Ewart Mcmillan has been there for over 50 years after starting there as a Retail Assistant buying the business way back in 1983, the business was opened in 1963, the other guy there joined Ewart in 1989 so between them they're got over 80years selling footwear so they know what they're talking about when fitting shoes. Good range to choose from not like most of the other shops which seem to be selling the same ranges as each other
B.these guys are the real deal. They have been to the factories overseas and met with the people who make the shoes.
So much knowledge I felt right at home.
The price is up there, but again, its the real old fashioned, beautifully crafted shoe with expert advise.

M.Great service by a couple of gentlemen -- one's old and the other's really old. They know their shoes and want to put you in the right shoe for you. If they like you, they might throw in some polish. I hate shopping except for this place.
N.I have been getting shoes here for more than 25 years. They have all been excellent quality and last many years. The service is great and helpful and unhurried. Whenever they are out of stock of my size it's never long before more shoes are in a style that works.
N.Excellent service with a touch of humour from an old school gentleman who really knows his shoes. Top quality men's footware only. Walked out very happy with a pair of Galizio Torresi. Wouldn't know where else to get shoes of this style and quality in Welly.
