T.Lipo had cut my sons hair for 3 years before we moved out of Auckland. Highly recommend Alan's and especially Lipo. Immaculate cuts, great with kids and professional service. We definitely miss Lipo's cuts and haven't found a barber that compares yet.

D.My go to Barber Shop since 2017 when I moved to Auckland for study. They are centrally located in Onehunga which means they are easy to get to. Typically visiting every 2-3 months for consistent haircuts with a fine attention to detail.
There are usually 3 Barbers working when I visit which means wait times aren't too long. They all have great skills and are very personable.
These things make it hard to consider going to find other Barbers, so let the reviews speak for themselves and see for yourself.
R.A shop manned by professionals who go the extra mile in perfecting their craft. One has to allot a bit more time to be served as they're not a run of the mill production outfit making sure each customer is happy with their choice of style...

C.Barbers are very good here, only two so there can be a wait. However couch is very comfortable and music is relaxing old school blues, Soul and rock. I get my beard trimmed which is done to a high standard, nice shave with a cut throat razer. Hair cut also excellent, been here twice now and think I have found my new barber

R.The que waiting says it all! These guys are fast and friendly and do a great job... No appointments available but usually only a short wait. So I was surprised when I waited through two customers to finish to have an appointment person que jump and the owner asked me if it was ok. I felt I had no choice and was running out of time so ended up leaving. I got back to work and my work colleague said the same thing happened to him so we won’t be going back again. Back to the Fade joint when he bothers to open!

b.Alan is a skillful barber and his staff are as attentive. Alipo in particular is a caring person. I've been going there for the past 7 years and very happy with the haircuts I get from them.
M.Consistent cuts. I feel good results. Especially compared to 7 out of the 8 barbers in Onehunga that I have used, one being a hairdresser. Others cut ok but leave poor neatness results on the sides.

Please don't let their terrible choice in music put you off if you want an affordable yet skilled cut. And you get a free lolly at the end. BOOM!

P.So many barbers in Onehunga- but this get a my vote as the only one than doesn't look dodgy or seem to have gang connections.
$25 for a man's hair cut is more expensive than most, but I will pay that premium.
