BodyFX are such an asset to the face and body art community in NZ. Using their great wealth of knowledge, they offer a wide range of products, including their own home brand of amazing paints, glitters and prosthetics (and more!) with the fastest shipping on the planet.

Great team with a vast amount of experience in prosthetic makeup, effects makeup not to forget face painting. Their workshops are great value. I did a Trauma Makeup one, some time ago. Learned a lot and great fun.

BodyFX has been my go to for all things paint and SFX make up for a great number of years. It’s a treat to pop into their Kingsland shop, and I’ve taken great pleasure in collecting both the products they stick from well known overseas brands, but also they super versatile and handy bofyFX range that theyve developed in house. Their products are the highest professional quality (at a competitive price) and they have always been generous with tips and tricks for how to get the most out of what I’ve purchased. Twice I have had my make up done professionally by them, and the results have been utterly stunning (including an award winning Halloween look!). Last year during lockdown the BodyFX team were incredibly helpful in supporting me with a secondary school project for my students. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I was served by Yolanda, and the customer service is amazing. My first time buying prosthetic pieces. The shipping was quick, and prompt. I went back to shop for face/body paint, which also arrived in quick time and secure packaging, along with a "Happy Halloween" which was a wholesome touch. I have had no issues with this place so far.

Exceptional customer service. This coming from an old timer, who misses good customer service. BODYFX have been incredibly helpful in their approach to making me happy. They are responsive, timely and friendly. Very easy to do business with and I am already recommending them to my friends and colleagues in the creative industries. Their products are competitively priced and far exceed $2 stores and the like for parties/fancy dress etcetera, in terms of quality.

I purchased the TAG neon palettes and they are INCREDIBLE. I ordered these products for a UV Glow party and have tested them under the blacklights and they are phenomenal. I will post some photos of the party this weekend but am a very satisfied customer. Products as described and came packaged beautifully with a festive wrapping and super protective packaging. Will definitely buy again!!!!

BodyFX are by FAR the top NZ Body Artists and suppliers of all your body/face paint and makeup needs. Yolanda and Julian are such awesome folks and perfect examples of the kind of kiwis everyone loves to deal with. Whether your picking up some makeup or planning a large event and want body painted models, you will be well looked after. I’ve had the pleasure of being painted by Body FX multiple times and each time was a lovely experience. It’s amazing being able to see these artists work their magic.

Unfortunately I don't need to shop here much however I have purchased things over the years when I've needed to. The staff are always super helpful and Im always tempted to join some face painting classes after reading about them in my monthly emails.

I LOVE BODYFX!! I bought some stuff for Halloween and was shipped and delivered less than a week later (during level 3 lockdown). The quality of the products are amazing especially the fake blood 🩸 last Halloween I physically went into the store and the lady working there explained the differences between the blood and special effects make up and was using testers to show me how to use them! The customer service of this place is definitely the best I have ever experienced. My parcel even had a had written note and my products were individually wrapped in Halloween paper!! Couldn't recommend them enough they genuinely made my week!! 😁

I ordered the fusion facepaint in the colours white, black and red. This was on recommendation of a friend who's going to do the face painting for the towns Halloween event. She mentioned the quality is amazing and always using this brand. The communication was outstanding. I was updated that the order was processed, dispatched, track and trace and when it was delivered. The quality is as said outstanding, waterbase so also safe to use on our younger visitors. I can highly recommend this store

The products are of high quality: the Body FX horror shadow palette has been a game changer for me. A little goes a long way and blends so well. Really easy to use their website for a neanderthal like me. The stuff got to me in 3 days! The paint is magnificent and the glue did an awesome job despite my naturally oily skin. Cannot recommend these guys enough! WILL use again!

The place to go in Auckland to get your FX supplies. I went there a few times to ask about products without buying anything yet, as I like to be sure, and the staff was helpful every time. After the visits, I finally bought some items and very satisfied with them. I really like the scar wax that is the shop own brand. Kid you not, the scars stayed on my face for more than 14 hours, with 8 hours spent at my job in customer service, without me having to put anything first as base. Highly recommended to go if you're a beginner as they are always willing to help.

I bought some red contact lenses for Halloween through bodyfxshop, and am very pleased with them. Although the shipping was expensive, in my opinion, it was worth the cost as they arrived in just 4 days. The instructions that came were helpful, but I wasn't sure whether I was supposed to keep the liquid in the vials that they came in, if I had to rinse them in water before I put them in my eyes, etc, as I am a beginner in the area of contact lenses. After I watched some YouTube tutorials on how to set up the contacts from scratch, (when still in the vials, unopened), I was confident on what to do.

Great retailer, I've bought face painting stuff on line several times for my kids and it always arrives quickly. Good quality paints (we have sensitive skin), sale prices are fab. Could easily spend a lot of money, such cool stuff!

I needed some red face paint for some face markings on a costume I was working on, and I was recommended Body FX by a friend of mine. First I tried consulting their FB page livechat to find out what I would need, but the service was really unhelpful and unprofessional (I had to go search and fetch links of the product the help person named from their web store myself!). However my friend told me she got excellent service from the shop so I decided to give it a try after work on a Saturday. The shop was small but cosy, with warm lighting. The person at the counter was very helpful and attentive to my questions, and gave me a few body paint options for my need. She also recommended me an optional product but didn't force any products onto me to make a sale. The lady was very friendly and helpful and even gave me a demo from one of the test pots on how to use the face/body paint! I would totally come back again! Their shop service is stellar, but their online service could certainly do with more improvement. :)

BodfyFX is a great business that has assisted me not only in purchasing my own special effects makeup but I have also worked for Yolanda & been body painted and the team she has is absolutely incredible. Their products are top line and also easy to use yourself.

Julian and his team are a knowledgeable bunch of peeps and go over and beyond with their customer care. I LOVE this place!! Have been to two of their face painting workshops over the last three years and both were so fun. Yolanda and Julian are awesome people and their energy and enthusiasm for painting is inspiring. I learned heaps from the workshops and really enjoyed the atmosphere. I've been using some of their products for a while also: Ben Nye bruise wheel, TAG palettes, liquid latex... and all are very high quality, super easy to use and are just overall great products. I bought biodegradable glitter from Body FX for a concert. The glitter is both biodegradable and sticks on for long periods of jumping time. The glitter does glittery things like sparkle and shine and make you look wonderful. Very thankful to be able to buy something this cool so close to home. It arrived in tack and very quickly (just four days tbh)!

I love BodyFX. These guys sell all the fun stuff. Buying from them really drives home the truth of "you get what you pay for". Their stuff is top quality. Easy to apply, easy to use and most importantly easy to clean up. I was interested in doing some special FX makeup for some portrait work I was doing. Having never used or applied anything like this before I was a little worried that coming up with something that looked realistic was going to be difficult. My advice would be, just buy some stuff and give it ago. The fake blood is epic. The bruise palette is fun fun fun. I keep making people gasp when they see me and they ask what happened to me and whether I am ok. I must be doing something right! Epic selection, epic service, epic price. Just do it. You won't regret it.
