Lots of unique stationery and other bits and bobs. Almost everything costs $3.50 or you can get three items for $10. Staff are friendly, always a pleasure to shop here

It's great that there's a Daiso here in Auckland. There are plenty of big Daiso stores in parts of Asia like in Singapore or Malaysia offering the consumers some products like handicraft for school kids at reasonable prices. Shop is always so neat and orderly.

Great for small household items. Better quality than what you'd find from those rando vendors on trademe and at cheaper prices

Reasonable quality with fairly low price. They have more than 1000 items items. There are a lot of interesting items I have never seen anywhere else. I found that their price is all the same $3.5 each item. $10 for 3 items. You can spend hours due to they have a lot of new items. Enjoy shopping here. VH

Awesome store and great values. Never get sick of visiting when in town. Why pay 3 to 4 time the price for the same item elsewhere? Japanese brands=quality. Wide range of choices such as homeware, cosmetic accessories, cookware, laundry items. etc. Check out the photos. They open preety much 365 days a year. No free parking, paid parking in the basement Civic carpark or limited paid parking on Queen St/Wakefield St. Staff are friendly and responsive. Better quality and range when comparing to the typical 1.2 3 dollar shop. Eveyrthing is Daiso branded. They also have stores in Sydney, Gold Coast and beyond. Highly recomended for a visit.

Great if you're on a budget but still want a bit of quality. This place has everything you might need for your place.

Yeah I guess like most everyone else, I can't say too much for a shop I expected to have higher quality but lowest priced items, and Daiso delivers pretty well. I was actually surprised by how well lit and white the shelves were, haha or it was everything being in a little plastic bag that made it all shiny. They had a sale going on where everything was $3 so grabbed a bunch of little things. The aisles are Very tight though so expect to be trying to squeeze around people sometimes.

This Daiso is small in comparison to the ones in Japan but its good none the less. They have a variety of beauty products, kitchen ware, stationery, bathroom and a lot of practical items. Takes me ages to look through all of them but a good selection of items. If I lived here or had just moved here this shop would be even more useful to me.

Really kawaii and the staff there is really kind and I needed 10 of the huge boxes tin things and we asked them and they specifically went in the storage room and got us more., it was really kind of them and I hope to shop there only!! Check this cool and kawaii store. CALLING ALL ANIME FANS! THEY SELL A LOT OF ANIME AND ANIME KAWAII STUFF!! That's me lol

most of the time i love this shop. everything is $3.50 and you can buy any 3 items for $10. sometimes its a good deal but sometimes you only want one thing then look around and grab two other random pieces of plastic junk that looks interesting just because there is a deal. haha. they have lots of good crafting materials there and lots of cute japanesey things that are good for gifts and decorations.

. (09/2017) Nice little budget store filled with wide variety of quality stuff in different categories from toys, household to stationary. Most of the items are available at discounted price of 3 for $10 or 1 for $3.50. Limited but helpful staff. Good for quick visits although you may easily loose track of times if not stayed careful while browsing around and may end up buying more than what you wanted to. Easily gets crowded around lunch hours. Good atmosphere and well organised.

Always interesting to see what you can find that you didn't know that you needed. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Some good quality stuff for a decent price.

The shop is overly clean and tidy. Well stocked for it's size and will generally have what you are after. If not exactly there is miniso and yoyoso within a minutes walk.

this place literally sells everything! from stationery to homeware to makeup, you can literally find everything you need and at a good price as well. their items are of pretty high quality, they last pretty long and don't wear out that fast. definitely a place to check out to get cheap stuff!

Fantastic store with widest selection of inexpensive Japanese products. There are at least 25 different types of origami paper. Only issue is that there’s no space and it can be quite difficult to move around but I suppose that’s the price you pay for so many options. Love this store.

Very popular for shopping for japanese bits and pieces $3.50 for one item or 3 items for $10.00. It's a compacted place.with a counter on both ends of the store. Men's belt for $3.50 that was good. Umbrellas loads of variety. Not a wheelchair accessible place.

I know about Daiso through the Pen Pal/Snail Mail community, our NZ don't compare size wise to the other branches worldwide. A lot of great things in the Queen St branch, I can spend hours just looking at everything. Such a small space though, they could do with a bigger shop. Favourite shop ❤

This store is like stepping into Japan. From door to door you have no idea what trinkets and fun items you'll find. Personally I walked out with a bunny mug, and food that looked fun though I had no idea what it was. Definately worth a look when you're on Queen Street.

I LOVE this store! You can find so many good quality things at a low price, especially stationery. The store itself is a bit cramped, but to be expected as it is quite busy. Has a backdoor to the food court in the civic for easy shortcut.

Quality of the products are good and for most items the price of $10 for 3 items is reasonable. Great for stationery lovers as they sell some branded Japanese stationery such as the Zebra Sarasa Clip pen and the Zebra Fude Sign pen, the notebooks are also quite cute. They also sell binders and refill similar to the Kokuyo ones (ones with many rings instead of just 3). However, the store is relatively small and cramped, which sometimes is annoying, especially when there are a lot of people in the store. For smaller items, such as stickers, the price also seems a tad high.

This shop has so many really good products, some that I had no idea existed or that I even needed until I saw them. I love their stationery the most, but they always have the other bits and bobs I am looking for. Everything is $3.50 except a few special price items, or 3 for $10. It's better quality than your average dollar store. The only annoying thing is that the isles are quite narrow and when it is busy (as every good store on Queen St often is) it is difficult to get through without apologising and asking people to move. Still, Daiso is truly a one-stop-shop for all things practical and homely, and my first choice for cost-effective yet quality nick-nacks.

Anything what you need to do something is missing items or equipment or other things have late open in city only.

You can find literally all kind of stuffs in very reasonable price. You may need to check YouTube channels what are recommend irltems to buy before you get the shop. There are promotions such as $10 for 3 items

Great little shop near the Civic. Most items were 3 for $10. Found many household kitchen & bathroom items. The Galaxy kitchen knives were worth the buy.

Nice collection of goods. Almost every item is priced $3.50. However does not cmpromise on quality as some $2 shops. Stockists of Japanese superior quality goods along with the usual Chinese goods.

Best place to buy things from Japan for the house. A bit pricey compared with what it cost in Japan as is a 100¥ shop there, but still much cheaper than any other place in NZ.

If there is anything that you need that you may have forgotten on your trip to New Zealand, this is the place that you can buy it for a reasonable price. The store can seem particularly small when there are a lot of people in the store--the aisles are narrow.
