Great place, especially with video camera's monitoring the illegally parked cars in the Disability Parking 🅿️ zones. Great Job Harvey Norman Manukau. Some staff were good but some looked at you and kept walking as we looked to poor to be worth the commission..lol

I wasn’t a big fan of Harvey Norman based on past few experiences, however, with awesome customer service and thorough product knowledge from Rupar at Manukau store helped get our confidence back with the store. Thank you Rupar for your great customer service and professionalism in dealing with our requests and concerns. We got the product that we wanted and within our budget. Will definitely be back 😊

Well, i got to say your customer service is far better then Neol leeming Manukau, i purchased many products at Harvey norman, all the branches staff are really helpful and seems happy while dealing with customers. Even after sales services staff doesn't try to get rid of you and always happy to help.

We did an on line order today for a 4 slice toaster and an electric jug . We are in our 70s and it was so simple. We did click and collect. I am impressed well done Harvey Norman we picked it up within two hours of paying. They even put it in our car boot. I feel lucky as my jug started leaking. I do hope the products are as good as they seem. Thanks to the lady that put it in our car. Very happy right now

Just want to say what a wonderful service by Rupan in bedding we actually came to see the sofa set but decided to swung by bedding section initially another girl came and asked what you looking for? No hello no hey, ?? felt very unwelcomed ??She didn’t even offer the service and jumped to another customer right way but than rupan approached us not only she greeted us very well , answered all the questions politely and made sure we were looked after till the end we are definitely coming back to buy from her once finance is sorted.

This is such a big store that it’s really easy to get a little bit overwhelmed. I particularly love to browse through all their furniture styling because they do this well and you always feel like buying new cushions and through for the bed. The staff are very attentive and helpful (probably because they are incentivised to be).

The thing with Harvey Norman is, while they stock good quality products, their prices are intentionally high. This means it's really up to the sales person you get. I've had all kinds over the years but today they were great. The TV we got was already price matched so it wasn't a matter of a good deal, but the information provided was great and helped the decision greatly.

The indian guy that served us today at the customer service desk was lovely to deal with. He deserved 5 stars but the other bloke that sold the s10+ to me a few months ago advised once the phone is faulty in any way I will get a brand new phone immediately, it sounded too good to be true, I asked why it was different for Harvey Norman in Mt Wellington, there are procedures you need to go through before getting a brand new phone immediately, the guy said that's because it's just an outlet store. Finally a few months later my phone no longer does fast charging and the ear phones can't work on this phone but on my other s10+ it works fine. Brought my faulty one in today & no surprise! There is a procedure! It needs to be sent to Samsung & it takes 14 days etc... If only the one that sold me the phones a few months ago would stop talking garbage to try & make a sale. Honesty is the best policy. Besides that, the guy today was great!

Now they gave automated the process so you don’t need to worry about your receipts for product warranty if lost the bill as you get bills and receipts on you email post sale which is really good

I never met a sales assistant like Tom the level of customer care he showed us while maintaining his covid 19 social distance Protocols and his product knowledge is next level I never talked with someone who knows the Origins of the front loader washing machine and he uses simple math to let you know how many shirts would calculate into the weight inside of the machine the capability and capacitys people if you tech minded or not and in the market for a washing machine or anything else tech talk to tom he can upskill your knowledge and yes we bought a brand new machine from him and a power surge Protector plug his Recommendation also so we could have complete peace of mind with our new machine and that was the best customer service so thanks tom from Mark Fauziyah and Zarah.

This branch has a good range of products as advertised by their website. Its retail staff are certainly good in sales talk and some of them practice the decency of giving shoppers some space as they make up their minds. Its location is strategic to have a wholesome outdoor shopping experience with easy walking access to many other stores in the Supa Centa compound.

Accessories such as batteries, power cords, paper and ink for printers are all here too. They also sell a range of lounge and bedroom furniture but for me, the electrical department is the area of the store that stands out for range, quality and service.

Had to buy our first washing machine and fridge so we extensively researched and looked at trusted brands from different stores. Joshi from Manukau Harvey Norman was very knowledgeable and helpful (and never pushy) from the get go. He gave us the confidence to looks at products we didn't even think about which we found were superior products to what we would normally get. She was knowledgeable about her products; followed up the delivery, and was great when we ordered extra material. They have good service but it's slow, they have helpful staff and good products but not long lasting warranties and if you want to extend the warranty to a reasonable amount then you have to pay. Didn't really feel safe there.🤨🤔😁

Staff members are friendly, and talkative; really good at making you wants to buy. Their normal/full prices are typical Harvey Norman, which means heavily overpriced. If they run specials, most of the times their prices becomes much more reasonable, and even better with their no interest finance deal. Parking are shared with all of the shops in the compound.

Was served by a friendly Chinese guy called Alan as we were after couches and dining tables. We settled with two sets of couches/sofas for two of our lounges with the best price. Lots of styles, variety and good quality for good prices!

A month ago I purchased a dishwasher from the Manukau store, and within a week had to have a service call to fix an issue, and then last Saturday (Easter weekend) the same thing happened again. On Monday I went back to the store and asked for the dishwasher to be replaced with a different make, as I was completely dissatisfied with it. This was agreed to without any argument, and my new dishwasher was installed yesterday afternoon, and the other one taken away. I would just like to thank the staff in the Appliance section (Joshi) at Harvey Norman Manukau, and Riyaaz (the delivery & installation man) for making this exercise easy and painless. This is 'customer service and satisfaction' at it's best. I have purchased items from Harvey Norman before and will continue to do so, why would I go anywhere else? Thanks again, Susan

A lot of these 5 star reviews (under newest) seem suspect as no one gives 5 stars without comment about why they give it. Real reviews have decent comment. Anyway, we had a bed issue - twice, with Beautyrest Black. We've finally been paid out in full and Harvey Norman rate ok on their handling of it although a bit slow to respond in many cases which is why I give 3 and not 4. In regard to buying beds, do not believe any advertising or sales pitch and do your research. Visit every review site, and make your own decision. No one brand is better than another and the plusher the bed, the more you will have back problems and overheat due to foams that sag and hold heat. Just to prove the point, when our BRB was taken away we have been sleeping on 2 old but good quality old spring mattresses and have NO back or heat problems. We've had two of the best sleeps in 2 years compared to what was finally taken away. Good buying tip. The harder the bed, the better off you'll be. We are getting a Sealy PP firm. Most reviews here and overseas (for all brands including Sealy) are mostly one stars for plush or medium beds. Never ever a bad review for firm ones. Ignore at your own peril - most advertising does 'not' live up to the hype. And when you buy keep all the advertising material that says what your bed will do (you may need it).

Just a standard harvey Norman, they have recently changed out slot of their gaming and electronics space for more white ware and home appliances which are way to expensive. I would recommend going to the warehouse over harvey Norman for any home appliances or technology. But I must say their furniture is still of a great quality but still very pricey.
