S.If you are into table top games and figurines for D&D, this is a must visit location. The staff are very knowledgeable, they drone on and on about everything you can image in geek culture... which is a good thing! LOL They also have a very good selection of model paints if you're into that.

A.Wow! I am totally blown away by the customer service this Shop offers. Prior to a big game release I sent an email making an enquiry if they thought they would stock it. The following communications were prompt and I was kept updated the entire way through the process, I even received a followup call saying it would be slightly delayed (not the shops fault). Kyle was polite, caring and professional, a real asset to the Team. Even though Im not in Auckland, Vagabond will be my go to store for all my purchases from now on. Well done!
K.Love the store but find some staff are a really great and some are a bit dismissive.
Overall I've had good experiences there which is why I've rated 4 stars but I do find some things a bit frustrating, such as if I'm there with my boyfriend the staff will talk to him rather than me even if I'm the one buying.
It would be great to maybe get some more diversity in the team as it would hopefully encourage people from different backgrounds to get into games!

A.Fantastic store, with a vide range of collectables. Lots of gun-pla kits, including ones for beginners. Large selection of warhammer.
T.This is my go to spot in central Auckland for hobby supplies. They have a good range of Citadel and Vallejo paints, and an excellent range of painting and basing supplies/accessories.
H.They have an amazing selection of stuff for loads of different franchises, there's something for everyone here. They always seem stocked well, especially for things like Gundam Figures and other collectibles. It's because of this that I always visit while i'm in the city.
However, some of the staff can be a bit rude, it's like some will only talk to you if you are going to make a purchase. After picking up a Bandai Star Wars kit, it was only then that I was acknowledged by one of the staff, and even then he made very little eye contact and said less than ten words during the transaction. It's a shame really, if some of the staff were just a little more inviting I would give this store five stars, and would definitely come a lot more often.

A.Enjoy shopping here, just a bit hard to find. It's street signage is appalling. That said, it's a great place to find games and pop culture goodness. Worth walking around the store twice, as you will see somthing you missed on the first walk through. Like comic shops, game shops can be intimidating the first time - just walk around for a bit and have a good look - don't hesitate to ask the staff - they are knowledgeable, friendly and they won't bite.

T.The inner-city LGS. They have loads of boardgames and models available. If they don't have what you are after the staff are super friendly and helpful. They also have more available online.
x.Knowledgable, helpful team & well-stocked store with a magnificent variety of games, models, & miniatures. Five stars if it had supported more RPGs than just D&D, Pathfinder, & Warhammer.
A.Great service and advice (even for this old man fresh back to his hobby after 20 years) , the selection is huge for a small store and well displayed and easy to find, the pricing is amazing I just wish this store wasn't a 4 hour round trip from my house.

I.I bought a model kit here and the staff are friendly and talkable. The price is a bit high but consider the rent for the shop and the shipping from Japan, it’s still understandable.

G.Went to Vagabond today to do some Christmas shopping. Walked in and it was obvious I didn't know what I was looking at and was clearly out of my depth. I asked for help and the guy who helped me was so helpful and didn't make me feel silly for not knowing much about what I was looking at. Very friendly and informative and when i went to pay they threw in an extra set of models for free! The best service, very impressed!

R.Helpful service and standard prices. Only draw back is they seem to get restocked infrequently and unsurprisingly their main focus is magic the gathering. We won't hold that against them though.

A.I didn't spend any measurable time in here. I actually just went in to ask a simple question, as I was looking for something rare. They didn't have it, it was really just a shot in the dark for me, but my initial impression was that the guys there knew their stuff, and the store was nicely layed out.

B.My favourite FLGS in AKL. Frequently some fun stuff eg squidgy giant Call of Cthulhu D12s. Some very well priced minis from Tyranny of dragons, and at the other end Age of Sigmar etc. Nolzurs and Deep Cuts, jars of dice etc. Board games, paint, terrain, collectibles.
