Excellent place for cheese lovers! Fortunately I was lucky to try the sandwich before it's finished (normally around 1 p.m) and I bought the cheese (aged edam). The sandwich and the cheese are simply fantastic! If I could I would buy every sorts of cheese here, only if I could! Friendly shop staffs are willing to explain and help you find your favorite cheese and it's very useful for me, simply love it! There are seats available outside on the patio and it's lovely to sit outside. A bit hidden from the main street but you can find the sign there because the entrance is on the back. Very very recommended for cheese lovers!

Been here because I read about the excellent selection of high quality cheese, and on that point I was very satisfied! Unfortunately I heard they are closing in July, that is unfortunate because with all the tasteless rubbish sold in supermarket that people call cheese.. These sort of places should be more common to really educate people on what cheese is... The thing that sort of made me feel uncomfortable was the pretty cold welcome of the people in there. Maybe is a bad time for them and I came in the wrong moment. But I felt like I wasn't welcome and I was kind of in the way while they were working... Well I'm sorry but I think that when you open the door of your activity and you work with public, you should be ready to make Every body feel Comfortable during theIr visit. No matter how much people are very often a useless pain in the ass that don't buy anything (i know that for experience) ... A part from that, Go there! And buy Their cheese And their bakes! They are delicious

I LOVE this place: lots of decent choices, and you can clearly understand the South Island Cheese is way better than North Island's!! Not 5 star because there are 2 big cons: it's unaffordable, clearly over expansive (gee... I can try the taste ones, but they are selling cheese, not gold) and they look up to french cheese (which is a lot of advertising but nothing of special)

Not only do CC sell fantastic cheeses and baked products such as their highly authentic and delicious English style pork pies, their service is second to none as well. Highly recommended for all of their products and friendly prompt service. Give them a try!

Such a beautiful shop! Unfortunately they do use a reasonable amount of paper, which didn’t appear to be composted, but they do let you bring your own containers to reduce waste which is wonderful. They have an amazing selection, and even had sheep’s feta!

Amazing selection of cheese and great bakery items too! The shop stocks a wide range of quality imported and local cheeses. We bought a couple of NZ cheeses - farmhouse and aged gouda - and they were terrific! The Eccles cakes were amazing - probably the best Eccles cakes I've ever had and that includes those I've had in the UK!!.

Want cheese? Come here. Bring your wallet and a carry bad. Want coffee? After 10am they make some of the best coffee around. Want baked goods? Be there when it opens. The bread mix with the cheese, ugh too good. The bread sells out fast, so dont wait until the end of the day.
