Most things are reasonable price many number of item from whiteware furniture to toys for kids ect never know wat ya might find pop on in and check them out for your next bargain

So many things to look at. Well sorted into sections do easy to find what you are looking for. Great prices.

Stock changes every day. You can test most things as there is no returns this is important . Over all as the prices are cheap worth a gamble . Sometimes if there is many of an item they sell for a few dollars. And sometimes for free. Staff are always helpful and friendly . Don't go there if you are easily hocked if you get a bargain, or it will become a daily pilgrim.

Loved my visit to ecoshop this week i had just given birth and when i had picked something up. Another item fell and broke a staff member told me not to stress over it and to take care of baby. I am also exempt from wearing a mask and the staff were ever accomodating and without stigma. Thanks team and very well laid out recently i didnt even know they had a half price on furniture so i was excited when the items i took up to the counter were half price. 😂

This is like a super store of opportunity shops, good variety of bits and bobs and specially for utensils, machinery and whitewater parts. Some great deals and I think someone junk can be someone gold ..so keep recycling 👍

Everyone should buy from Echo shop to save our environment. Recycling is grate way to save our planet. Echo shop facilities us to participate to save our planet. Prices are are reasonably cheap and most of the are in good condition.

I found the layout excellent but not the buildings temperature. It was a bitter 5*c day that day, and had hoped for some reprieve from the cold. I enter to find a lone consumer grade heatpump in a large 700m2 warehouse mounted high up in the ceiling space. Poor thing, it was barely 8*c inside the place. Suggest wrapping up real warm with gloves and a hat whilst at the EcoShop on a cold day.

Quite a mixed bag. Some things exactly what I needed, other things got excited about only to find it missing a critical bit or something else wrong. Some things a bargain, some things over priced. But overall, very glad they are recycling, and glad I have that somewhere to go for those certain things. Just check some things over carefully to make sure they will do the job.

Some gems can be found here if you're lucky. If you need to kit out your kitchen cutlery and crockery and you're on a budget, this is the place to go. For home entertainment, I got a pc and 42in Full HD TV for under $150. I have since upgraded, but this place saved me when I first moved to Christchurch.

Love going here to pick up a big stack of books for the kids. Also worth going if you need a cheap piece of furniture or garden equipment that you may not need a new or top quality version of. Everything is very affordable and the staff are super friendly

Excellent place for picking up a great bargain. Staff are very helpful. Being a second hand store it pays to always read everything and ask questions before buying as some items could have faults. Overall it's a one stop shop for all second hand goods. A place to even go on rainy days and have a wonder. You might just find what you were looking for. Careful though as this can become addictive and you could end up buying unnecessary items.

You always get the most exciting things for supercheap but without warrenty and generally broken but not always. coffee machines, breadmakers, toasters, computers laptops. If you can clean and repair them you can get a good device for much less then new.

You can buy here almost everything, a big second hand store, mass product are cheap but sometimes, the hidden gems are a bit overpriced....made many good deals here.

We love to come here to find cheap furniture etc to up cycle. Have bought some old school desks for $10 and made some great side tables out of them or got loads of old beer grates that were still in great condition and up cycled our dining chairs with those. Great place to find a bargain.

Always a great place to spend free time looking for something specific or just browsing. Finally they are have started to create some order to the way they display their stock. There is now a very large range of electrical goods with some great items. When it is busy parking is a problem.

I bought my boy a kids laptop for a fiver, a fiver for a laptop, fair enough he can't play minecraft on it or surf the tinterweb but it cost a fiver, you can't get a pie for that at some places. They have big boxes of wires as well......... you never know when it might come in handy

Prices here get higher everyday. It used to be my go to for getting all sorts of things and now I think again. The service is often unfriendly, although I have had good experiences with a number of the staff here. I'm not sure why a dump shop is charging so much? I would actually really appreciate an answer...is it running costs?

Great idea..prices a little OTT on some items, especially furniture, which generally are shabby,& need tidying..or are a 'make do' til you can get something nicer.. Great if you broke or lost a lid or part or base or .. you may find a replacement here.. Fabulous if you need paint or a bike to tidy

It's gotten a little more expensive than it used to be, but it's a fantastic way to upcycle and reduce waste. Insane that there isn't an eco store as good as this in every city.

Visited here to buy some second hand paint. They had a very helpful person in this department. Prices were very affordable and the selection was vast. Because its second hand, they range in different prices and quantity. Each pail has the color on lid so you know what each pail color is. We browsed around inside the building where it was full of second hand goods that were labeled with a price. We found an old children's digger that you sit on and control using the hand levers. This was made of steel and well used but perfect condition. We purchased this for a great price. Staff were happy and helpful.

Great shop outlet for 2nd hand goods. Huge range, quality and prices ok for most items although some things I thought over priced but mostly fair. Be prepared to 'roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty' if you want to explore the large bins of anything from music records to bikes to bags, books and whatever is put out on the day.

This place is awesome BUT it would be nice if they had some "Dealer Free Trade Me Free, Market sellers free days. So that other members of the public get a chance at the good stuff instead of the same 20 or so that line up at the doors every day getting all the good stuff. Just a suggestion.

if you are budget conscious or want to fix and item such as a fridge shelf or vacuum cleaner hose this place is well worth a look. there is a full range of household goods and furniture along with garage and garden items. there is good parking. the shop is well set out with clear signs of what is where..

Looking for old parts for a vacuum cleaner or household appliance, well this is the place to come. Lots of preloved things for setting up a house or flat, even old garden and garage tools. Great fun for a wander around. Bring your wallet and trailer, it's going to be a long day!

This is a community store to the extreme. It is a local store for local people they'll have no trouble here. Their first concern is to supply local people with good quality second hand products at very low prices from other local folk. The only thing some people who are not so local find the staff difficult to understand. Probably due to the fact there are too many local parents who were already family before they married although this is anecdotal . Great prices and range! !!!

Great place for treasure hunter, they always have fisher and paykel smart drive motor which great for diy wind turbine (please Google if you want to know more). You are helping city recycling item while you shopping. Recommended to everyone

I love adventuring around here. If you find something you like definitely grab it as I've missed many a great deal thinking I'd grab it later. Heaps of spare cables, parts and pipes/hoses for electronics and appliances for way cheaper than Mitre 10 or Bunnings as well.

We are known by the owners and they are lovely always asking how we are & have watched the kids grow throughout the years visits. The staff are amazing there too. And all the products are great. Great shops for people interested in antiques! The EcoShop has pretty much anything, from pipes to chicken runs to fridges and shoes. They have a wide variety of used furniture and dishes as well, however it can be quite hard to find anything decent as a lot of the items there are unkept and could almost be seen as junk. Though for any collector of old fashioned items and antiques, this shop is a goldmine. I myself can easily recognise the age and quality of some of the items they sell, and I could only imagine how priceless they would be for a collector. I think everyone should have a peek into the EcoShop at least once, there is always bound to be something that tickles someones fancy. Like me? I want one of those used waffle makers. Oh yum!

Great shop. All recycled from your junk you threw away. Someones junk is another persons treasure. Very well set out shop. Very easy to find what you may be looking for. I was looking for a power cord. Unfortunately they didnt have one. But i always check here first

This is a must visit for any new students, or those just starting a flat. It's all used items sold here, but thar means you get all the the stuff really cheap. I got a pair of my dad's really good speakers that I couldn't find anywhere for 20 bucks! I was after a medium sized casserole dish and a lid for it for $6 (it did need a good clean though). They have a lot of other things there too. Like tables, sofas, kitchen appliances, tvs, desks, pictures, school chairs, worn workshop tools, pillows, shoes, vinyls, cds, to name a few. Of course, if all depends on what you want and if your okay with using used stuff (and some stuff is well used). Also, it's first in first served. Sometimes you can look for a product and all of them are unusable, then the next time a few extra came in the other day and there is one that suits your task, so it's a bit of the luck of the draw whether or not you get what you want (just after Christmas is a good time).

OMG. This place is an Aladdin's cave. Lots of stuff there and looking round I think you could furnish your entire house with the items on the shelves...everything from books and records...yes really.... they have loads of vinyl, through to electronics. Anyone know what a Rollie (tm) is? Through to some weird and wonderful furniture. I'll definitely be heading back but I think to avoid the magpie syndrome I'll leave the cards at home and stick to cash :)

Always a Little Nugget of Delight can be Found, The Old Standard of "Another Persons' Rubbish, is Someone else's Treasure" Remains True. That aside, Sometimes The Treasures a Priced a Little on the High Side for Some Peoples' Pockets. Perhaps an Occasional Refresh in Some Areas wouldn't go Amiss. Still I Have Enjoyed Many a Good Forage and Would Recommend that People Wanting things for Flats etc, or a Pick me up looking for a Treasure/Nic nac, Go to the EcoShop and Enjoy. Staff Always Friendly on Desks and Do a Sterling Job Sorting items into the Areas that they are to be Sold from. 😆
