K.Staff were friendly and conversational, and very knowledgeable about products. Were able to give me recommendations and advice based on their lived experience, which I always appreciate when it comes to dog-life.
The shop layout is medium-sized, well-signed and navigating around the store seemed intuitive.
M.I wish I knew her name.. I popped in a few weeks ago and this lovely Pacific Islander or Maori lady helped me find suitable things for my kitten as I'm a first time pet owner, she was so keen on helping and was very informative which I loved, excellent customer service I will definitely be back and hope to get help from her again.

D.Omg this store is huge lol, just like my rabbit Jet bun. I went into Animates to buy a treat for Jet, I got 1 wooden chew treat and a salt block for her. There's so much more items to see, for Yr cat, dog, fish, Guinea pig, from food to collars, leads and toys. You gotta go experience the good in thst amazing store
T.Friendly staff, staff has good knowledge about the stuffs instore. They even makes online click and collect ready within 30 mins most of the time.
H.I've recently purchased 5 tiger barbs here. What can I say. I have noticed that the prices for fish were raised but anyway I got 5 for the special price-22nzd. The service was quite friendly, I am planning to buy some more fish over there.
There's a not bad choice when they have a delivery, so maybe it is better to clarify the dates of new arrivals. I remember I wanted to buy some guppies several times but they did not have it.

T.Awesome store and staff! I get almost all my cat, dog, axolotl and fish food treats and accessories etc here and my dog absolutely loves coming along with me. The staff remember her name almost every time and are super helpful. I highly recommend this store.
