Good friendly staff who are willing to assist. A Big store in size and has everything you need. Lots of different counters based in products categories. Ample parking space in front and conveniently located on Te Rapa Road (corner Garnett Ave). You will truly get better bargains than Briscoes and the Warehouse where there are specials. Do pay attention of the brands of products as some of them do not last and when you call the store it goes to a call centre where staff not all that helpful. Highly recommended to visit this store.

Great shop with great range of items, very helpful staff. Cannot give five stars because there is no bicycle parking. There needs to be a bike rack somewhere in the parking lot to make this store accessible to more people.

Good store. Unfortunately prices aren't easily found for products or they are missing. They have great sales and a large selection of baking and cooking utensils etc. They are quite expensive unless you look for items on sale. It can get very busy and the wait times can be long.

Handy store for all sorts of craft needs. Sometimes things I want are out of stock and sometimes they have heaps. Regular specials and member savings.

Huge store for all sorts of things, from fixing a hole in the shirt up to organizing a party. It sells a variety of sewing machines, cloths and the like. Customer service is decent and nice. It has plenty of parking space. Not too many toys though, so kids may be a bit disappointed.

Left at the traffic lights is free parking, entrance to spotlight along with a cafe, westpac atm bank machine, salvation op shop located on the main road, you can access it ,by walking up the ramp far left as your facing spotlight entrance. Staff always really helpful when you can't find what you see in the brochure or online.

Perfect. I found what I wanted after some hard shopping. Ever tried to match a particular purple? No luck but I finally found the right pink which wasn't so easy either. Wearing pink under the purple lace but now to have made for me a pink short jacket.

I recently moved to Hamilton, and needed some pieces of decor to finish off my new home. Spotlight was the only store that supplied what I needed, at affordable prices, and of good quality. They look so attractive, and suit my little house perfectly. I have since purchased a few more 'goodies' from them. Thank you so much Spotlight!

When you get to know the layout of your local Spotlight, it's a great place to look around for anything you may need. Most of my time is spent in the wool area but I have also purchased a little crockery. Usually a tidy shop - until lazy 'pick about' customers feel it's okay to put items they thought they would like, into the wrong shelf. Too lazy, or don't want to go back to where they got it from. Staff are very congenial. Obviously a shop who work to the motto - 'the customer is always right'.

This store has a great range of craft supplies. However I always struggle to find help when I need it. Checking out is very slow, and the staff seem like they are struggling with outdated systems.

My husband and I visited Spotlight on Sunday 13 June around 9.30am to buy venetian blinds. The store person (female, tall, lovely) from the fabric department was so helpful. She genuinely took an interest in finding out what we were looking for and went the extra mile to ensure we had all of the information we needed. She had good knowledge of the products, was friendly, helpful and we left feeling very well looked after. The other person at the counter was also really helpful as she had purchased the same blinds as we were purchasing. She gave us some good tips. The time that both of them gave us was really appreciated. Its lovely to have such good service. We will definitely recommend Spotlight Hamilton and will be back. He aha te mea nui o te ao. What is the most important thing in the world? He tangata, he tangata, he tangata.

I think it's a great shop for all your sewing needs and manchester plus knick knacks. The only downside is how the place seem disorganized or in disarray with their merchandize, maybe the store is too small for all their products, hence the four star. This place can turn into a Gem if they can make it more inviting as you come in.

Love shopping for craft supplies, got a couple of Vinyl Supplies for my Cricut Maker, to do up some signs for a job I was recommended for, and well for my first time experience of actually looking around this place, it was not what I was expecting, and what a great experience it was. Totally recommend to anyone - Pays to be signed up with them is well to get credit/points on your account, will be worth it after a while. Register on their website!!!!

I bought a few items online and did a click and collect (1st click and collect ever)... I went into the store a half hour later after the process and went to collect it.... Without my knowledge to waiting until I have to receive a txt for me to collect it...the items that I bought only had 2 left in the store and was worried it would get sold out instantly due to the sales.... With the help of Tracey N who was extremely lovely very helpful and kind. Directed me to Claire the manager to help get my products right then and there.... I was pleased to have my products and leave the store.... I am so impressed with the efficiency staff going out of there way to make this happen.... I will recommend this store to everyone.... There was a sale on and the shop was full with customers. The shop looked a bit messy and the aisles were a bit confusing due to the messiness. The shop assistant took really good care of us and shared heaps of helpful tips with us...that was nice.

Pretty expensive, but they have such an amazing range of stuff - a great place to visit when you need a little inspiration. I was disappointed as I went to use my 40% off voucher. It was only for full priced items. A lot of the shop was on sale . The album I brought was 30% off so couldn't use the voucher, do the math people. I think it's a ploy just to get people into the shop- not cool Spotlight.

Excellent variety of household wares. Really good if what you need is on special but otherwise it's a bit pricey. Seems they load up the regular retail prices to make the specials look amazing. Great customer service and almost everything I've bought there has performed really well over the years. Best ever purchase, out door furniture setting which is 5-6 years old now and going great.

Staff review: I'd like to give 5 stars for the lovely ladies working hard and constant. On both occasions 2 visits in 2 wks I've taken note of the staff. One staff member was about to step up the ladder. I asked her where I could find macrame rope. She took me directly to the isle. The ladies at the material counters are very helpful and answered my questions with good advice. The ladies at the checkout counters are so nice to talk to while being attended to. Thank you for the nice chilled cucumber water for customers. I thought this was such a nice thought and perfect refreshing idea. All 3 stars are for the staff only! Store review: Spotlight may have a vast range from arts & craft items to household items and materials - BUT, Spotlight is not cheap! Sure there might be the odd few products that are on sale at times and is a really good bargain when there are specials. Though the very items needed and never on sale are always too highly priced and twice the price than another store selling the same or similar items for up to $2-$10 cheaper and good quality ie: Modpodge, dot tools, fluid paints. Or there isn't enough of a particular product. Either part stocked with 2 colour options only from a colour range of 8 or just out of stock. It's obvious these particular needed products are what customers are buying mostly which If I were working there would identify as a most selling product to note a restock list asap before stock runs low. Products review: Pros: Quality is good for the projects. Cons: Understocked or Out of stock. High prices compared to other stores with exact or similar products.

Very disappointing visit on Saturday to spotlight.One staff member was extremely rude to me and the other was lovely (clearly trying to make up for her colleagues rude behaviour) and the items i went in to get said instock at Hamilton store on their website but was not in stock when I got there and the lady told me I should have checked online. I said I did and she well it's never right anyway you should ring us...not a great visit.

I found what I wanted, but the store is very messy with not enough staff in the fabric cutting area which happens to be in the middle of the store. I had to ask where to have my fabric cut.
