C.What a hobby store should be. Kits, CCGs, extensive paint and modelling supplies from Citadel colour to flute board, dowels and pipes. So glad I discovered Lovecraft this year.
Holds events, has a lot of full sized tables, and you don't feel like card boxes are mapped if you know what I mean.
If you play wargames, build model kits, race Tamiya, fly aircraft or play DND or CCGs make sure you make use of this local resource.
P.Napier is incredibly fortunate to have this shop! Great for paints / glues etc. Ok, kit selection could be bigger. I'm not into card type games, but it seems to have a huge following for the younger crowd, so great for them. Use it or lose it!!
P.Excellent gaming and model store. Great range of role playing and other games, model supplies and paints, helpfull, friendly and knowledgeable team that provide invaluable (and very understanding) advice and support to this dad when buying presents for his teenage kids!
Also runs gaming sessions for players to join.
D.The prices are fairly reasonable, the staff are welcoming and knowledgeable and they have a great range of paints and products, I just wish they had more models I want .

A.I've experienced nothing but fantastic customer service from Lovecraft, [formerly known as Jambo Hobbies] I always look forward to purchasing new items from this outlet because they have interesting novelty items as well as game & art based merchandise that can provide hours of fun filled & awe inspiring entertainment for family & friends.
C.I wish I'd known Jambo Hobbies existed when I lived in Napier. Of all the hobby stores I've visited around the country, Jambo is by far my favourite. Recently they've moved to their old location opposite the Napier public library, and the much larger floor area means they can host all manner of games nights. Great prices on a wide variety of hobby essentials, from D&D to model warships, make this a must-visit for any geek in the area.
