What an amazing shop! To be able to buy local, to feel and see the products, ask questions, and get what you really need/ want without pressure. The shop is small but carries so much, and what is not in the shop ,Yvonne offers to order in for you. Prices are very competitive; Yvonne looks after the locals while running amazing classes every week. The students all work on their own projects, with an expert advice at their fingertips. Yvonne also has guest artists on for weekend workshops, which are well received. I truely enjoyed attending the workshops and classes, had to take a break, but hope to be back in class soon :-)

Looked at previous reviews and was surprised by the differing views. Visited shop and found the owner to be very friendly, willing to assist with advice and knew her product well. Despite a class running she was welcoming and the studio members were obviously enjoying the environment.

This is the best place to buy art supplies in New Plymouth. Always cheaper than I have ever seen online, so it really pays to buy local. They will happily order in what they don't have in stock.

Have been attending classes here for a couple of years and find the owner who also tutors the classes to be very suportative and has extensive knowledge. I throughly enjoy the class and the company of the other students.

Since moving back to New Plymouth I have fallen in love. There is nothing I have asked for that hasnt been sourced for me. As a commercial artist I thought that I would be forced to go online.
