Excellent service from the staff here, the young woman who served us was very knowledgeable about all the camping gear we were interested in and rang ahead to their other store to hold the items for us. A great experience shopping here.

Hunting and Fishing have been good to deal with, with the exception of 2 small issues, item i only enquired about, notified 2 weeks later my order (that i had not placed) had arrived (i still bought them so no biggy), being sent from 1 store 1 side of town to the other, being told they had what i needed, only to get there and they did not.

For once, in all honesty, in the numerous times I have gone to the store, a salesperson ACTUALLY approached me, not me having to stand there for 10 minutes trying to get a staff members attention. Must be the new store in the Valley that's been a good influence

Steve was a pleasure to have help us. My partner, who should have got new tramping boots BEFORE climbing the summit of Mt. Taranaki headed in store for some new boots after his experience with his 11 year old hiking boots. After using them on a less mild track to complete the Tongariro Crossing, Renan was thrilled with the fact that he finally didn’t feel any rocks underneath his feet for once! Haha Thank you for all your help and expertise on our new boots and our new socks! Thank you Steve!

Real friendly service. Boys will love it so much fishing and hunting gear to just browse. They didn't have my size or style, no trouble the had it ordered and in within a couple of days.

Good selection of product. Staff are hit and miss, can be rude and unhelpful at times, which is a bit off-putting. On a recent visit I asked about an item which was on a compulsory gear list for an upcoming adventure race, I was made to feel a bit silly which I didn't appreciate. Wasn't overly interested in helping me, so I left empty handed.

Best one I've ever been to.The Apparel they stock,and sales they have are off the hook.Whoever thought to put a sports shop near the main wharfes and boat ramps is a bloody legend. Love it.
