S.Wet pets is awesome! I've gone to wet pets for years, not only to buy pets and supplies but also to enjoy looking at and interacting with the animals there. There is always a variety of new and well cared for animals there. The staff are always on hand to give helpful advice and have all the supplies to get you started if you are a new pet parent. Would definitely recommend a visit or to go there for any advice or supplies you need.
A.Good place to buy a pet if you can afford it. If you are a fish enthusiast great place to buy if you want to set up a fish tank. There were a few kittens and puppies, my great grandchildren were delighted to go to wet pets , great place to take the little ones.

E.The only real pet shop left. With actual pets! Fully worth a trip from Wellington to show the kids what a pet shop was luke when I was a kid… great way to discover all sorts of different animals.
B.Stunning Range of pets to choose from, cool place to take the kids to look at the fish and animals! Can be Humid and hot inside but worth it. I drive 45m to go fishing here 😁

T.The last time I visited this place I picked myself up 3 Oscars and a large sized pleco. Gave away the Oscars and I had 4 by the time I visited a second time but still have the Pleco 2 years later and hes doing well in my 1000 litre aquarium. Going to come in tomorrow looking for flag tails, bichirs, giant gourami and or arowanas. Overall great store and 100% recommend this to anyone in need of fish or other pets/pet requirements.

A.Amazing the animals are so cute, defentliy suggest visiting. Also all the animals are there to be adopted and they have all the stuff you need so don't be afraid to adopt one!
S.This shop is so awesome. Prices of pets bet high though especially dogs but well worth a visit. Staff are so awesome. Was looking for leads etc. Was not much choice and couldn't buy what needed. But awesome place to visit. Only big downfall is parking.

P.Best kinda pet store this day and age, not only do they stock the needs and essentials for almost any pet u could have.... They have pets toooo. Actual living lifeforms that u need to adopt (purchase/make family/it's a lifetime commitment of a forever home!) To have the need to want the fancy products to keep em happy and healthy :) this petshop outdoz most! A must see for those of all ages, check out the massive range of pets!
Smiles sometimes are missing, but checking out the maintenance and cleanup needed for all they offer viewing on publicly and adoption availability, the lines of clientele on a daily.
I detour to this store when in area no matter what! Lovely staff and happy to answer even the stupidest of questions!!

S.I always live going into wet pets. They've got a good variety of toys and apparel for cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, lizards, frogs and fish! They even have the above animals in store too :)
J.Got my entire Aquarium set up from here. Staff are beyond helpful and give good advice on what to do to make sure fish are healthy and the tank keeps looking great.
Love seeing all the different types of animals that come in.
C.We visited with our 20 month old grandson as a bit of an outing. I don't think we were the only ones there just to keep kids amused. Great collection of fish and other aquatic attractions. The dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs etc kept him intrigued.
F.Friendly, hands on, knowledgeable staff! Animal husbandry great and it smells how a pet shop should! There are a lot of animals to choose from and I think they are doing a great job as it is a big responsibility! You can't please everybody, but I will always keep coming back as I love the option, variety, feel and it's therapeutic! Thanks Wet Pets & Country Pets!

A.Great place for aquatic related things. Better selection than animates and pet essentials etc. Staff were helpful and fish look well kept. Tad more pricy but I don't mind supporting private owend business over the bigger places.
D.Love the puppies but damn they aren't cheap, lovely girl explaining about the pom cross paps today and they have some beautiful cats in there too. The proper British bull terrier pups ♥️. Think I'll save a dog myself though next time I get one if at all. (Only my opinion) definitely worth a visit though.

G.Bought our kitten from here and regularly buy their kitten food, never had any issues and the staff are lovely! Always have a great range of pets over the weekend. Giving a 4/5 as a manned counter at all times would be really helpful :)
B.Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We drive for an hour to visit this shop. The incredible variety of birds and fish alone make it a Paradise for my inner child! Healthy happy animals.
S.I go here often and i took my son there to see the animals. Always a lovely place to visit. However, the girl in the fish section (dark hair and makeup) made me feel a bit horrible. She knows her stuff and to be honest i have kept fish before (one i kept for 7 years) but she did keep implying how horrible it is is keep certain fish in a fish bowl. Not that i was going to. But she made me feel like i was going to and anyone who may want a fish as a pet should be more informed that bowls are for other fish not goldfish. Put signage about maybe etc.
I think she ruined my experience i have never had a bad experience until this last visit. Also, no information on good deals from her. She was going to hand me a pamphlet but id like to hear it from a person. I think maybe staff should have an idea on whats a good deal. If any. She seemed blunt and unwelcoming. And i was going to make a purchase but changed my mind because of this.
I have been in retail and i know what its like. But please let staff know that sometimes people arent stupid (and some are) but dont want to be treated like horrible people.

D.Well placed out shop. Parking a bit limited. The staff are very helpful they know what they are talking about and recommend the equipment you need to get you started. They have a very wide range of pets ranging from chickens to salt water fish loads to choose from.

S.A nice place to visit, but sad to see some of the animals in cages week after week waiting to be bought. The prices are very high (compared to the same breeds being sold on trademe), if the prices were brought down maybe the animals could get to their new homes quicker

E.WetPets have a great range of fish(tropical & subtropical), rabbits, rats, mice, dogs cats guinne pigs, birds...pet food & advice. Very knowledgeable staff on animal welfare. Great place for kids on a rainy day.

F.Oh Gosh what is there not to like about Wet pets! My partner and I make it our fortnightly stop when dropping my kids back in palmy. Great team, shop and setup. The animals are looked after so well too. Super cool and a must visit for anyone going to Palmy
