V.Amazing service from Elvis today! Went in looking for outdoor furniture, ended up buying 2 couches. We were so indecisive and couldn't work out if we wanted recliner or normal and he just came along for the ride with us 😆
Super knowledgeable about the range and stock levels, great sense of humor and didn't put any pressure on us like some other stores can.
S.These guys are magic. I went in the other day with a hardware issue in a device that i had brought. They went through a diagnostic process with me and then gave me a new unit as a replacement. Couldn't ask for better service than that. It is hard to find that kind of service nowadays
S.28/10/21: I needed Bluetooth earphones and called in to have a look at what was available. I chose 3 types that I thought would be suitable and then turned to seek assistance/advice. Within seconds a sales rep approached and asked if they could be of any help (I like this as on a couple of occasions, I had either been ignored or constantly followed around). The sales rep answered all my questions about the various earphones plus extra info about each one. I chose the one he thought would be a good fit for me which also happened to be my favourite option.
A good shopping experience for me as I always try to spend as little time as possible in-store.
Footnote: tried out the earphones as soon as possible after I got home (after initial charging of course) and they work great. Easy to 'pair' to my phone, too.

They've worked at Harvey Norman for many years and are both so knowledgeable and obliging. When we buy furniture we actively seek out Stephen as we know he'll really look after us. A.I ordered a laptop online and collected it from this branch. The employees were very welcoming and kind when I went in to collect it. They just checked ID and handed it over, which is so much better than The Warehouse where they go into the back and mess around looking for your online purchase for 20 minutes.

A.Had exactly what we wanted. The best part was that the staff are fully trained to know the specs of the products they sell, so we were able to buy with confidence. We bought a new washing machine, and Michael was able to talk to us about the different machines and help us do a comparison so we could get the one that best suited our needs.
L.I dealt with a lovely salesperson Alinka. Friendly and efficient and made the process of getting delivery, setup and an extended warranty super easy. Would definitely deal with Alinka again if I needed an appliance.
S.Great experience buying a slimline dishwasher from James Leggot after trying the other regular shops who seemed disinterested in providing any customer service. James was extremely helpful and efficient. Very glad we decided to go to Harvey Norman.

M.I find the staff ar the Tec Bay very accommodating and helpful. The head of the team is very experienced and knows what to do when it comes to repairing computers etc.
A.The,place is good but some sales people are really pushy. Like they are super eager to make a sale. To the point where even when you're brutally honest and tell them it's unlikely you'll buy the item they will insist on calling the next day....annoying...

T.Went to HN to purchase a new stove. Met Michael Ho who showed us the range gave a breakdown of features on different stoves. Very helpful guy we now have a new stove on it's way to home. Next purchase will be a washing machine I will certainly deal with Michael Ho again.
J.Excellent customer service, lots of different products and services at a great rate. I have recently purchased a westinghouse oven 05/2021 and I am really pleased with the purchase. Harvey Norman's collected my previous Westinghouse oven and replaced it with a newer version of the oven. I highly recommend Harvey Norman's for prompt customer support and a wide range of products available.
D.Five stars for service, checking out upholstery fabrics for lounge suites. I was directed to fabric books, sales person explained some of the basic considerations left me to it and checked in intermittently. If I found something I liked he made the respective enquiry and let me know price and availability. Open store layout so a lot on display. Heaps of parking out front.

A.Shopped here for boxing day and they had the best deals comparing all the shops in that area! Giving 4 stars as both my recliners and bed are being delivered only in February, that's a 6week wait.
S.James Leggot continually gives us exceptionally wonderful service, so thorough, efficient, friendly, professional, a delight to deal with all our household purchases.
M.Came in to look at and try out beds at Easter time and was abit unsure at the time, we were served by a lovely older gentleman named Fred who was very helpful with our needs and seemed to take note on what we were looking at and showing us similar options we might like. He was not pushy at all and didn't hang around like a bad smell like alot of the people in the bed department do - he gave us his card for us to contact him when ready for the bed. We returned last week to purchase the bed and again asked for fred who remembered us and was very good. No sales pitch etc we made our own decision and he informed us where needed. The process was quick and easy and very enjoyable. Will 100% be back for the rest of our furniture and hopefully will get in touch with him again. Thanks for your help fred!

Two sales assistants ignored me in the furniture dept (why we've gone elsewhere for our lounge suite) & my partner struggled to get anyone's attention in the electrical dept only to be made to feel stupid by the assistant when asking where something was.
James turned it all around for us making it fun & enjoyable. We will be back thanks to him.

B.Your staff were'nt pushy and we purchased the best outdoor furniture sweet option available to us on the floor or anywhere in the greater wellinton area. I had phoned 2x earlier in the week prior to purchase.
N.Two things you need to know about this store 1. Although it bears its (HN)name it is actually a franchise (as we are told by member of staff) therefore the inventory is different from that of e.g Tory Street, Wellington. So if you are liking at online prices & deals this place won't honour it. The products and deals are different and only exclusive to the store. 2. The warehouse, which is not far from the store is where they keep most items so if they don't have it in store, ask if they have it in the warehouse and if you can pick it up directly. It will save you time

A.We have purchased several large ticket items from this Porirua store and can not fault their in store service, delivery and set up and backup service. However our most recent purchase made just a couple of weeks ago was a freestanding induction oven, my gripe with this is that we purchased it supposedly "on special" and that the marked price was "The best they could do." Imagine our huge disappointment at seeing a television advertisement last night stating that the cost of the same oven has now been lowered to HALF of the price that we paid for it! #feelingalittlerippedoff
We will be slowly replacing all of our white wear over the next couple of years and this negative experience has made us a little wary of parting with our hard earned money quite so obligingly in future, buyer beware, I guess.
