J.Having tried their cheese at the Hamilton Farmer's Market and being impressed by the quality and service of the lady attending the stand, we ventured our and visited the Factory and Deli one weekend. They were under level 2 lockdown restrictions so not all the offerings were available which is understandable, but don't let that stop you. It was an overwhelmingly positive experience from the friendly and helpful staff, the range of condiments and other non cheese products were quite extensive, but the cheese room.My goodness, the cheese room. Even without the tasting offer, you can't pick a bad cheese here. Can't wait to go back for more, and one of the highlights of my time in NZ. Thanks, Over The Moon!
X.They make really interesting products like the goat camembert, the buffalo and cow Blue. Those are very flavorful.
Sadly lot of products are insanly pricy, among the pricest ones I came across In New Zealand.
When you buy pre-packed cheese, several of them go over the 100$/kg mark, which I can't wrap my mind around. It feels like your buying luxury items more than food.
It doesn't seem theirs customer are very concern about the pricing so this luxury strategy seems effective.
There are also affordable cheesemakers in New Zealand, that make great cheeses and I prefer to buy theirs products to encourage them to keep decent prices that makes cheese accessible to a broader audience.
A.If you love cheese then this place is a must visit. A cold room with samples to try and enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff to help you choose. The classic Brie is amazing and we have enjoyed the more exotic Southern Cross hard cheese, Moon Crater and the best of the best Truffle Brie. They also run cheesemaking classes which we are keen to try sometime soon!

J.This is my favorite cheese shop. The choices range from the popular staples to a variety of intriguing cheeses, all made with local milk. The two for me are the camembert and truffle brie. They also run cheese making courses which I'd love to do one day.

M.I use to purchase a lot of cheese from here as I live in Auckland so I’d stock up and bring it all back for friends and family. One day I walked in, I was being friendly and made conversation with the lady whom I think may have been one of the owners. There was another customer there in the refrigerated room trying cheeses. I heard they had recently opened up elsewhere and I was excited for them so I expressed this to the owner. I realized I was in the wrong place when the owner started taking to me as though I didn’t belong. None the less, I carried on being my happy self. The other customer went to the counter and the owner followed. She didn’t realize I was right behind them and the owner glanced at the other customer and murmured “wow that was intense” with this really mean look in her eyes. I was so embarrassed and hurt that I have not returned nor purchased their cheese again. Having grown up in the Waikato I can’t believe such snobbery exists in NZ let alone in a small quiet farming town. Everyone should be treated equally no matter how they look or dress. I may not like to dress fancy but I work hard for my money and always support local as I understand the hardship that comes with being an entrepreneur in NZ. When you get to the top don’t forget your roots.
M.A must stop for all cheesy goodness lovers. One of the best blues cheeses I have tasted in a good wee while and a French Brie which has creamy smooth but subtle flavours that scream have second thirds and fourths.
P.Had the washed rind cheese and it was just delightful. Cleared the room a bit for the unaware but the taste was devine. The black truffle brie was also very, very good.
K.This little boutique cheese shop is well worth the visit. They import cheeses and also make their own. They are open seven days. They offer cheese sampling. We bought some Goat Blue that has the most delicious 'tang' to it. Stop in for a visit and have one of their coffees while you shop. They have lots of other goodies to accompany your cheese purchases too.

M.Stunning service - with personality and a warm welcome as I entered the shop. The lady led the way to where their cheeses are stored in a temperature & humidity controlled room and asked me what I was looking for.
She told me the difference between cheese textures and taste - making a decision was really hard but in the end I went with two cheeses, a beautiful creamy blue and a triple cream brie. Price was irrelevant as they were for a very special occasion. The eating was perfect proof of quality and hand craftsmanship

M.A quality cheese store, their cheeses are world class very tasty. Are able to taste selective cheeses, problem is deciding which one to buy. I bought 4 pieces and could happily have bought all of them. Delicious.
L.The cheese here is incredible. My fiance and I are fans of soft cheese primarily and we found the brie was to die for! We bought three of the one we most enjoyed.
The staff were quite friendly and professional, we walked in abs were greeted and given a free tasting on the spot.

m.Very nice little special cheese shop. good kinds of cheese tasting room and knowledgeable kind staff. Very tasty fresh cheese what you can not find at ordinary shop in town. We bought three cheese costing nearly $40 very special!! very good!!
S.Stopped to get a coffee for the road and was tempted into the cheese tasting room by the appreciative noises coming from a group of ladies partaking in there. Tried the DELICIOUS cheeses on offer and abandoned our plans for lunch and instead bought a selection of their tasty cheeses to have instead. Very reasonable prices, extremely tasty cheese and nice, friendly staff.

W.Discovered this cheese shop on the our way, at first we thought it was a bakery. But after seeing the big collections of cheese I quickly fell in love as I’m a big fan! Love the cheese tasting part, found some of them has super rich and interesting flavour. They also have an online shop so I’m surely will order some more!
