H.I purchased two beautiful Gin glasses for my mum for Christmas and one of them had unfortunately broken in the post. Vicki was amazing and sent me another one that arrived a couple of days later. Highly recommend, great products and amazing customer service 10/10
S.I was able to find what I was looking for and when looking for around also found
Something else for the kitchen cupboard, a staff asked if I needed help, I said ,told her what ai wanted ,she happily assisted me. Lovely lady who knew where to find what I had asked and went and got it for me and took it to the counter where I paid for it. Sorry didn't get the ladies name. Will go back to Chef's compliments again.
l.Always stop in Chefs compliments, as a couple of Chefs we can spend all day in this shop its amazing and has everything you need, Staff very helpful too, Guaranteed to get what you need as they stock so much from around the globe :-)

R.Brilliant range of really good quality products and the prices were better than I expected. I ordered two Scanpan chefs knives that Consumer NZ had recommended and they cost less (on sale) than at Briscoes and the delivery arrived the next day. I wish I'd bought the knives years ago and I'm definitely going to buy more cooking and baking equipment from Chef's Complements.
M.I love this shop it has a great range of kitchen and baking stuff. I love the cake decorating range. Always worth having at look at this store if you love cooking.

D.I have wanted to visit this store for years and finally had the chance while I was in the area. What an amazing store! Prices aren't the absolute sharpest in NZ, but they have a massive range available over a variety of categories. Fairly friendly staff and even a demonstration area. Very happy with my purchases and will definitely shop here again.

P.Fantastic service, knowledgeable staff and a huge selection of top-notch products and appliances to choose from. I hired a themed cake tin which was an awesome option to buying one I'd probably never use again.
This store really is a Gem and we are so lucky to have it here in Taupo.

Had a glitch in a Christmas gift purchase I was making elsewhere and in desperation went on-line to try and obtain it. Found Chef's Complements website which was very informative. Found just what I was wanting and even better they had it in a giftbox set. So close to Christmas I was anxious about whether it would arrive in time but I had no need to worry as it reached me in two days!! Great website, great products and amazing service.

R.I love this shop! Good quality toothpicks - so hard to find. Good quality teatowels - also hard to find. Many folks have probably never known the joy of a good one. Big, thirsty, leave'em to your grandkids, quality. Great store. I always check'em out when I'm in Taupo & rarely leave empty-handed.
D.This (in Taupo) and Gate Pa (Tauranga) Gourmet Trader are wonderful to visit and explore. As home cooks my wife and I visit whenever we are near, often buying something but drooling over all the top kitchen stuff which we have neither the room nor the money for. Doesn't stop us finding new ideas, cooking bits and pieces that we can try or buy.

Wow - such a variety of tools, appliances and knick-knacks to support the professional and the keen "kitchen buff" (Some of which is very reasonably priced).
Limited kerb side parking nearby. Several parking precincts within 5 minutes walk.
Mostly keen, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly team members.
M.These people have moved across the road from where they were into a much bigger store space. They look like they now have added to the already wide variety of stock they sold as they've somehow managed to look like they stock even more stuff and the shop is full!
I enjoy coming here everytime I'm in Taupo. This time I bought a quality whisk and one of the ever famous small Victorinox knives. The staff know their stock and also what the difference is between different brands. Product knowledge and experience are what the staff who work here have.
S.I am in heaven when I come here. I've bought all my Kitchen Aid brand appliances here and they've been excellent, helping me when one needed servicing. I find I can always find slightly obscure things here that I can't find anywhere else.
L.The store is huge! Contains everything one could want for cooking, from the cheapest forks to the most high end knives over $800 each. As with most slightly specialised stores like this, the prices are pretty high but i guess that's to be expected.

A.Food was really good, had alot of choices for food which was nice. Only down side was the computer system was down and they forgot my friends drink, she had to go up and ask for it... ther then that great experience
