Shop with a decent selection of essentials for those holidaying in the area. They've even started to stock some craft beer from Good George. The food is nothing worth writing home about unless you like your pizza to resemble cardboard and your Takeaways greasy.

Great place to stop when out for a walk. While there you gotta have a hot chocolate, muffin or scone all homemade by the lovely friendly staff. Grab a seat, catch up with the Kinloch locals as they drift in and out puts a smile on our faces everytime ❤

We've just moved into the area and thought we'd try out the local takeaway on our first night. They were very busy which was a good sign so it's obviously a hit with the locals. The fresh fish was delicious along with the burger. We will definitely be back!

Newly renovated, great little store with takeaways, ice creams, groceries, wine and beer. Great outdoor area, has a pizza oven but I haven't tried one yet. Straight across the road from the lake. Plenty of parking nearby.

Your local friendly general store probably the only store in town, great place to grab a bit after swim in the lake. Store open longer during summer time normally close at 7PM its 7:14PM when i type this comment.

Friendly staff and certainly a popular store. Great service. Fish’n Chips are pretty good, other hot takeaway foods on offer with hot drinks also available. Ice creams were devoured by the kids, no qualms, no worries with a warm family atmosphere.

I love this little store!! Coffee is amazing, try a ‘dirty chai latte’, absolutely yum! Burgers are incredible and pizzas are delicious during summer. Curly fries are to die for, and can’t go past a salted caramel ice cream.

Everything you need. General products of a dairy, also pizza, fish n chips. Best of all icecreams waffle cone! yum!! Plenty of parking cross the st to facilities changing rooms and toilets. Walk 50 metres to the beach. Kinloch lovely lake to swim in! Family time definately

Great service as always But don't rush!!! An. Extra couple of minutes to fully cook the chips and crisp the fish batter would've been perfect. Love coming to kinloch and fish and chips is one of rituals.

Being a small store means their grocery selection is limited. Good fried food takeaways and indoor and outdoor eating areas. A literal 'stone's throw' from the beach.

Dairy has been at Kinlock for years under various ownerships.. they have s good selection of groceries which you may not buy in Taupo about 20k's away. Good alcohol section.. wine and beer. Trout fishing licences available here. You can purchase takeaways and coffees and ice creams etc over the counter......

We go there mostly for takeaway food. Their burgers are delicious, they use ciabatta bread instead of burger buns. Maybe a little more expensive than others, but well worth it.
