c.Usually good, but craft supplies (understandably)well picked over when I got there. Bought something other than what I went for for $13, went to warehouse to see if they had what I originally wanted and found what I'd just bought for $5. Win some lose some. At least staff friendly and helpful at spotlight
S.Always find what I need at service after asking customer service staff member, they tell the isle number n the products are there. I used to ask if I could take some of the purchase n the client came up with more stock n happy because they(client) got what they wanted n had extra arms to Carr their purchase
K.I visited the shop to buy pillow cases and on entry, I couldn't find the right color I wanted. There in an aisle I found a staff member who happily helped me locate what I was after...At the checkout I was greeted with the same helpful demeanor and service. I'm a quick shopper so I was in and out 10 mins. Thankyou ladies. Keep up the great work.

O.This is easily my favorite shop in town. I usually find everything I need and the service is friendly and helpful. I made these reusable makeup cleansers with 100% cotton yarn from Spotlight.

Craft... everything from polystyrene shapes, chocolate making fillings, yarn, cottons, sewing machines, patterns, scrap booking to beading. A great range of home and kitchen wares. A lot more besides. Prices are good and staff pleasant and helpful

M.Busy store. Went in to order wooden blinds and have them cut down to suit my window size. Had previously ordered from website but told size unavailable despite being advertised as a size choice. The blinds delivered were not wide enough so were returned with full credit and hence my follow up visit. Staff member was friendly and helpful. Computer system where she had to enter my order and instructions was slow to update which meant other customers were having to wait quite a while.
D.Sometimes have to wait ages to be served only to have someone else move to the other side of the counter (sewing section) and get served first. In frustration I have left on more than one ocassion without buying anything.

K.Good store and handy location with plenty of parking outside in the Gate Pa shopping centre. Lots of materials are available for arts and crafts projects at home and also for knitting sweaters for my family. Good to come to when I do my shop at New World in the same area.

B.Went to Spotlight Gate Pa Tauranga. The assistant was extremely helpful...couldn't have asked for more. Bought size double sheets and pillow cases - super. Nice fine cotton - just what I wanted. MANY THANKS. ( Sadly can't recall the lovely lady's name but she was partime and a 'Teacher Ade' in her other job! Thanks again!

J.This is a small store, so the selection is limited. If you want the mega store Spotlight, then head to Rotorua or Hamilton stores. Apart from that, staff were friendly and their knowledge of what i was after was good.
M.This store is massive! I’ve only been a couple of times but plan to go back. It has everything you can imagine. Tons of fabrics. Even cookware, costumes, linens, and home decor. I’d highly recommend coming here!

I.I was going to thrilow away two perfectly good bras because the underwire had broken. I purchased new wires from Spotlight for only five dollars fifty. Now I don't have to replace them. Spotlight have everything you need for cheap easy repairs. Hi and look. Dave heaps of money
J.Spotlight has a large range of craft and baking supplies but also a large price point, everything is well merchandised and simple however. The front counter definitely needs expanding as its small and cluttered which isn't ideal for customers with baskets of items, it also slows the purchasing speed which can deter shoppers from completing a sale..
C.Lots of great merchandise, hpwever very poor staffing levels. Each time I have been there usually one staff on till at front door sometimes two at w/e and a great queue waiting to be served. On the material counter maximum of 2 staff, loads waiting for service or advice. They lose a lot of sales as a number of people including myself just give up and walk out. I should add that if you do get to be served the staff are great. Management needs to note and put more people on the floor.

M.Really a nice range of crafting materials, starting from paint, treads for crochet and knitting, garments, lamps to perform the job, etc. The prices are not the cheapest, lots of staff to help you around. Some good deals on the SALE days.
C.It's a shop with lots of bits and pieces and you can usually find household items there like bedding, bathroom, cushions, materials and all things to sew with, blinds, party items, kitchen bits'n pieces etc, etc. I'd been to several other places looking for a fake orchid in a reasonable looking pot for an area that is not well-lit but liked none until Spotlight. The pots the orchids are in are good to look at, as is the orchid.
R.Was concern over club members not getting 30% discount on products notably the 8 litre and twin 6 litre glass dispensers....these were advertised in sale from 7 march to 24 march 2019.
All been resolved thanks to the 2 assistants who came to inform the cashier.
I will continue shopping here...the assistants generally polite and helpful.

S.Its a good craft store, has a fairly good supply of scrapbooking and card making gear along with other craft supplies and some home ware and decor as well. They are open Weekend's and have a late night Friday till 7 pm
R.Wow it was amazing to see so many things But costs were to much for me. Sorry I couldn't buy a very simple 'place mat' for such what I would say--only me that, it was too much. Lots if people brought many things that they could go to, afford to but too much.
A.Better to go into Spotlight than order on line, they advertise items, you order them, then you find they have refunded your money, as the item is out of stock, this has happened to me at least 4 times recently, when ordering online it can be any branch, not nessesarily Tauranga
T.Found what I wanted super fast. Parking is a mission on the weekend but Friday it wasnt too bad. Always a queue so dont come if you are in a rush, didn't have to wait too long though.
M.I like spot light it can be quite expensive and not always great but sometimes there are some good bargains in there. I like that you can find almost anything you need craft wise and can get some great ideas. One day I am going to buy a sewing machine and fabric from there to make my own dresses, as some really lovely materials there. So far just had card making and crochet items 😁

I.I've been here a few times now. Staff always happy and helpful and know where the item you're after is located. Which is a must, as its a large well stocked shop.

N.Good stuff to buy , staff can be a little brusque and store layout is horrendous near the tills, huge space for people coming in but tiny bottle neck for people leaving.
C.I don't really like spotlight but it's still the best place to buy fabrics and sewing supplies in TGA. Can often get some good priced fabrics on their clearance tables. The sewing pins are expensive. Better off going next door to the $2.00 shop ;P
B.A good range of crafting assortments that's hard to find around Tauranga and helpful staff. The only thing wrong is that the store was a bit messy with things all over the place but it's understandable with the size of the staff.

P.Always messy but that's the nature of this type of store. The car parking is terrible, very small parks and aisle widths but store staff nice and friendly and have some decent products at great prices.
