Great store. Loads to look at and buy. Staff were friendly. Loads of options for fishing gear. Great they were open late on Friday. Easy to access the Store just off the highway. Lots of car parks too. Man I love fishing. Was like a kid in the candy store

This is quite a big store and has a good selection of outdoor gear. I have stopped a couple of times when pushing through Kopu, as it's worth a visit and makes for a good break in a journey. Plenty of parking and staff helpful.

I called in here on my way up to Coromandel to pick a tip for my sons rod and got there just as the boys (and girls) where locking up shop. (I mean they were on their way home and getting into their cars). I was a little reluctant to ask for anything as it was Saturday arvo, (beer o'clock) and sheepishly asked if I could purchase the rod tip. I didn't catch the guy's name but not only did he get me the right rod tip, but said that in the spirit of getting the line in the water I should get out of there as soon as with out accepting payment. Thanks Guy's. It was only a rod tip, but the gesture has changed where I shop for my sports gear. And my son's.

Bought a fly fishing vest with a gift card that was close to expiry. Fly fishing section was a bit light, but given there are limited opportunities for fly fishing in the area, not surprising. Otherwise a well stocked shop with friendly helpful staff.
